Actually if they had to make an alt for Sonic, it'd probably end up being Metal Sonic, since Super Sonic is Sonic's final smash already...

I honestly find that "No 4th Party" rule to be bulls*** as that eleminates characters that would be perfect except for the fact they didn't originate from a video game. Off the top of my head, I can think of Naruto, Inspector Gadget, the AVGN, Ichigo, Inuyasha, Batman, Superman, and, hell, if we're following your logic, any Indie characters. I honestly don't see how you can make a rule against 4th party characters and have 2 already in the game.

And, since someone locked my stage post about a stage from an actual game and using 4th party rules as evidence, if what you said about this being a Nintendo game were true, hen the AVGN would have more of a buisness being here, or at least a stage from his GAME! and also, since this is a "Nintendo" Game *sarcasm* then why the hell are Goku (Shonen Jump), Ryu(Capcom), Chun-Li(Capcom), Bomberman(I honestly forgot. Smash Bros. is not a Nintendo game? Man, I've been living a lie. I suppose all the official Smash Bros. games are not Nintendo games either because they have Sonic (Sega), Mega Man (Capcom), Snake (Konami), and Pac-Man (Namco), right?

I locked your stage thread about a game revolving around a character who did not originate from a video game nor is owned by a video game company. I'm not sure what you're having a hard time grasping here. Words are difficult, I know.

Some of us want this game to be professional and yes some characters aren't, but adding more crappy characters won't help. Sometimes I wish Goku wasn't in this game just so this shit wouldn't start a fire among the crowds.

Am I the only one who notices a legitimate problem with the 4th party rules? Specifically th "owned by a non-gaming company part"? You probably don't see it do you? Well I do. I see a one big glaring problem and that is: Warner Brothers. Why? Because Mortal Kombat and Scribblenauts are owned by Warner Brothers, as a parent company. So, I don't know how parent companies work. Would Scorpion and Maxwell still be able to be in the game? I don't know, but do parent companies fall under this rule? That's a serious question because I want Scorpion and Maxwell in the Game.

Scorpion is owned by NetherRealm, Maxwell is owned by 5th Cell. Both are legitimate game studios.

They only published the games. They are developed and truly owned by their respective studios. Just like how Squaresoft made and owns Kingdom Hearts and Disney doesn't own Sora or his friends.

So Warner does not own the games? OK. That still eliminates the games owned by Midway as they ARE owned by Warner Brothers.

Midway filed for bankrupcy back in '09 and was merged with WB Games to create NetherRealm Studios. So...

Also, you may be forgetting the fact that Warner Bros had nothing to do with the first MK game back in 1992. That matters a bit.

Oh, I'm not talking about Mortal Kombat anymore (Probably should've said that) and I guess we should stop talking about this before it turns into a long-ass discussion about Warner Bros.

I'd like to hear some examples of video game characters that are owned by Warner Bros. that would actually be a good fit for this game if that's alright

Ones who's IPs aren't owned by some subsidiary company of course, (MK, Scribblenauts) which are totally viable.

I think Axtran asked a good question though, but HypeConduit pretty much answered it for us.
