Yes, Dr. Mario's Back in Smash. And it's high time we accept it and ask the Age-Old Question "What would make a better Final Smash here than his Sm4sh Final Smash?"

It's not just his Final Smash that needs to be changed; it's his entire moveset. So...

Why not give him a gimmick based off of his games?
For example, instead of the Dr. Tornado for his down special, why not change it to have him summon a Randomly colored Virus. The color of the virus would determine the effect it would have on the fighters (Red=Fire, Yellow=Shock, Blue=Freeze). His neutral special could have an effect on this. If he summoned a virus, then threw the correct color vitamin at it, it would result as a explosion that would knock back fighters.

As for his Final Smash, why not have him change to Metal Dr. Mario, like he did in Dr. Mario 64?

You could've just edited your original post instead of making another one that's the same one as the one you made but with more details. Just paste your details into the edited post. Smile

Also, i agree on giving him a move that has something based off his game instead of a horrible clone of mario.

And if the vitamin/pill is the wrong color,it would just bounce off in another direction.

Dr. Mario coould be also a nice addition to SSBC. However, in order to differentiate him from Mario, I'm suggesting these superpowers:

-Neutral Special: Power Pellet: Dr. Mario throws one of his magic pills to his enemies.

-Side Special: Needle Prod: Dr. Mario pulls out a giant injection, and he jams it in the enemy, stunning him/her.

-Up Special: Super Jump Punch: Similar to Mario/Luigi/Waluigi Jump Punches; however, the main difference is that Dr. Mario spins while doing it, and the punch has electric properties.

-Down Special: F.L.U.D.D.: Dr. Mario uses the F.L.U.D.D. for shooting a water pulse against enemies. However, unlike in SSBB and SSB4, the water pulse damages the enemies instead pushing them.

-Final Smash: Ultra Cure: Similar to Mario's Final Smash; however, the main difference is that the beam is formed by Pellets.
