| I'm wondering who and all everyone wants to see in Crusade, but doesn't want to make a post about it due to them being kinda....eh.
Personally I want to see the following:
Mew- Why Mew? Well, we have Mewtwo, and I feel Mew should be in it. Not a reason on why, so that's why I'll never make a thread.
Dixie Kong: Someone did make a thread on this and I touched up on it, but I have zero hopes.
Spikey-Earred Pichu: Alt costume for Pichu
Toadette: An alt for Toad. That's it.
Rena from Star Ocean: Made a thread on it, but it died since no one knows who she is.
Rita Mordio : She's from my favorite Tales game. There's no set main character in the games, but she would be a nice addition.
What ideas for Crusade do you guys want, and are too afraid of making a failed thread on? As you can tell, my ideas are...eh but it's late and I'm ranting so leave me alone ;-; |

| You got a long signature...
..but welcome to the forum, buddy!
My personal wants and what I feel their chances are..
Jack Frost: Most wanted Crusade character. Mascot of a popular company with heavy Nintendo connections, alongside being a fan-favorite and I've also been told his thread and moveset is amazing and one of the best threads on the forum, so obviously he's gotten great reception among Crusade fans. I feel he has an 85+% chance.
Paper Mario: 2nd most wanted Crusade character and most wanted mainline Smash character. Paper Mario is a heavily praised and well-loved series that's very relevant and popular. Paper Mario himself has potential for an amazing moveset. Chance: 95%
Poochy & Ukiki: 3rd most wanted Crusade character. Initially very polarizing but after recently adding Ukiki and a ton of other cool moves and gimmicks has only received support! Chance: 45%
Isabelle: Arguably head to head with Tom Nook for the rank of Animal Crossing mascot by now, and Nintendo is pushing her as the clear winner. I've never seen anyone say anything negative about my beautiful dogther (dog daughter) and my old thread for her which I plan to retool was well received. However, she doesn't have a chance without Villager being in. But I feel Animal Crossing definitely deserves 2 reps. Chances WITHOUT VILLAGER: 0%, Chances WITH VILLAGER: 55%
Baby Bros: Very much love or hate and just a personal liked character of mine. I feel they're major enough to eventually warrant a spot after a few other Mario characters, and they could have a very cool moveset as I tried and most likely failed to prove. Chance: 35%
Mallo: Pushmo is arguably the most popular Nintendo E-Shop series ever and well-liked overall. The moveset gimmick potential is amazing, and I've made Mallo a thread. Chance: 50%
Karate Joe: It's either him or the Chorus Kids (or a surprise visit from the Rhythm Girl) and I feel he'd be cooler. However, after long consideration, I think his moveset would be a bit bland and the Chorus Kids could most likely pack more from the entire series. Chance: 30%
Nikki: Very wacky choice but it seems favorably received. Would be a great choice to represent the Mii's, not Nikki is not really a Mii by now. She even has her own game. Chance: 50%
Big Boss: Yet to make his thread but I love Big Boss as a character and MGS deserves another rep, really. Could be an amazing alt for Snake with a much different moveset. Chance: 45% |

| Marina (Mischief Makers): Fav game from 64, just great character with lots of throw-oriented playstyle ideas and an interesting aesthetic. Not my waifu but she's... uh... I suppose more than presentable... Don't hate me. Gomez (FEZ): Despite the backlash, I love this duder. I think this game really lent me a new view on puzzle platformers and I just love his design and cute style. He wouldn't be an "ambassador to indie games" character. Fuck that shit, I just want him for him. Let that be said for all indie characters. Winnie The Pooh: Hahah, yes my plan the whole time was to recruit Pooh you were all part of the ruse that I have so craftily planned. Checkmate, atheists. I've actually been thinking up a traditional 6-button fighter moveset for him and it's lose to done; if only I had any mugen knowledge. There may be more at one point or another, stay tuned Bro0o0o0o0o0o0o0o0s |

| Me? That's easy: -Roy Eliwood [Fire Emblem]: He was the one to have the first GBA Fire Emblem game, he was the one to do the first Fire Emblem revival, which is pretty important, he and Marth were both introduced in the same Smash game, and most importantly, he's relevant by appearing in the newest Smash game in a completely original design (a mix between his classic design and his FE:A design) and on the same time, he's not a Marth clone anymore, but evolved into his own thing. Relevancy, importance, and uniqueness (not a Marth clone, has unique sweetspot position). Roy has all of that at this point, plus Pichu is in Crusade, so why not Roy? -Wolf [Star Fox]: He's a Smash veteran and fills in an important representation spot for Starfox by being the rival of the main protagonist Fox. Plus, Wolf is not a clone, and Crusade is the perfect game to make Wolf even more unique. -POKéMON Trainer [are you even asking?]: He's a Smash veteran and is a character completely unique both in Brawl and in Crusade...if he gets in that is, plus the game still doesn't have a Water POKéMON and a Fire POKéMON, so there's that. -Simon Belmont [Castlevania]: Him and Solid Snake are the flagship Konami mascots, and Simon is extremely Nintendo-relevant, plus Simon would bring in an original gimmick with the hearts system and sub-weapons and upgrades you can get by random. -Terra Branford [Final Fantasy]: Nintendo relevancy, being the first female protagonist, originating from the most famous Final Fantasy game on a Nintendo console, mage (something really rare in Smash games in general, including Crusade), half-esper, still relevant enough to appear in the starting roster of the upcoming Dissidia fighting game. -Cloud Strife [Final Fantasy]: originates from the other famous Final Fantasy game, originated from the first 3D Final Fantasy game, has Limit Break (and a little magic), and also relevant enough to appear in the starting roster of the upcoming Dissidia fighting game. While not as interesting as Terra, Cloud is at least a close second. -Quote [Cave Story]: Cave Story is the father of all indie game, Nintendo relevancy, Quote can be his own unique sort of zoner character (maybe weapon-switching in mid-battle?). -Reimu Hakurei [Touhou Project]: Touhou Project is the leading doujin franchise in Japan and some of its games even get official international releases soon, that's how globally popular Touhou is, and Reimu is the main protagonist in that game, Reimu also can be unique by giving her the ability to graze through the opponents' projectiles. -Lip [Panel de Pon]: odd-ball retro representant (like Ice Climbers and Duck Hunt), can be extremely unique by having two gimmicks (Lip's Stick and block managment similar to Panel de Pon), also has little Smash relevancy (item, Stone Kirby transformation, a song and a bunch of stickers), also has at least one installment released in overseas. -Shulk [Xenoblade]: relevant, Smash veteran, unique thanks to his Monado Arts, plus having Shulk also means having Rikki and Reyn. -Clink [Evoland]: an indie game centered around the history of videogaming itself (as you go on and on, the game changes from 8-bit to late-PS1-early-PS2-era polygons), can be completely unique by having to unlock various attacks and system moves by opening chests first*. Sadly, though, he doesn't seem to be well known (I did found Evoland 2 on Steam, though, so who knows) - Spoiler:
*This is where I get into detail. I always wanted to make a thread about Clink from Evoland, but I could only come up with his main gimmick, so here it is: At the beginning of a match, he starts of with being only able to walk, jump, crouch, and do a simple AAA combo. However, if he attakcs his opponents enough, they will drop chests, which will unlock new moves for him like Tilts, Smashes, Aerials, Shielding, Grabbing and Specials. The problems started as soon as I tried to come up with his Special Moves, and it did not end well: *N-Spec: Arrow (shoot an arrow, cannot be charged) *S-Spec: ??? *U-Spec: Sword Spin (make an unchargable sword spin in order to recover) *D-Spec: Bomb (place a bomb on where you are standing) It's just a worse Link (doesn't help that Link is part of Clink's name). So yeah, that, and Clink's lack of popularity have holded me back from making a Clink thread.

Boggy B I can agree there. It's pretty sad that he currently doesn't have the amount of support I hoped for. Boggy has a HUGE armoury of weapons and has the potential to be an unique fighter. There's even been at least one Worms game on every Nintendo home and handheld console from the SNES to the Wii. |

| Nightmare from SoulCalibur.
I really wish this guy would be in here, I mean he's already from a fighting game so his moveset is down, and we need a modern Namco character in this game IMO. |

I didn't think you'd get any lower but here you are trashing someones pick in a DREAM CHARACTERS thread And if you insult his choice.. Lol, you want Clink from a game this entire forum hasn't heard of basically. Also, Terra isn't exactly the flagship character of FF, just sayin. |

| I thought Nightmare was the flagship character? I only played SC2 on the gamecube... the only other characters I can even remember are Yoshimitsu and Link (who doesn't count).
Anyways...
Professor Layton - 3rd party exclusive to Nintendo (aside from an ios game) and probably the top puzzle franchise out there. It's also one of my favorite series, so I am a bit biased.
Jak & Daxter - This is a dream character topic, ok? I really like their series, and I loved how they played in PSASBR.
Sly Cooper - Again, dream topic, though Sly fits a bit more than Jak... And he has quite a bit of support, so maybe it's possible?
Andy - Advance Wars is a semi-significant first party series dating back to the NES. It seems wrong that he doesn't have more support, on top of his unique mechanics involving building troops to aid him in battle.
Lyn - My favorite Fire Emblem character (even more than Roy!). A significant rep as the first NA character, even shown in Brawl/4 as an assist trophy.
Banjo-Kazooie - One of my childhood games, and one of the most popular games on the N64. They may not be first party now, but they are generally favored around here.
I've made other topics here, but these are my top few, at least... I do want to mention Inkling, Spyro (PS1 version), Paper Mario, and X, though. |

| Well, as far as I remember, Mitsurugi was always the Ryu of Soul Calibur (or rather Namco makes him look like that). I also wanted to say Siegfried, but then I remembered that Siegfried was not always playable (due to him being Nightmare's other persona or something, not a big SC expert either). |
