| "Hi I'm Daisy!"- Spoiler:
Princess Daisy arrives on the Crusade Scene as an independent fighter! Fighting alongside Luigi after being benched under Peach's shadow. Daisy is a tomboy, and a sportier version of Peach. Her special moves are based off of the various sports spin-offs in the Mario Universe. Such as Baseball, Hoops 3-on-3, Super Strikers, and Olympic Games! Daisy's one of the most vocal characters in Crusade. Using an array of her energetic voice clips from Mario Kart 8! During her taunts, winning screen, and she even shouts some phrases mid-battle. Daisy's Voice! https://youtu.be/gC5R5BBrNx0 Daisy can not float! Daisy shares Peach's giant jump height and has an above average air speed and is also much faster on the ground than her pink counterpart. She's essentially a mix of Peach and Captain Falcon. Being able to combo from all over the stage, having an effective air and ground game. StatsWeight: 90 Height: Tall Dash Speed: Fast Air Speed: Above Average Shorthop Height: Half of initial jump Initial Jump Height: Average Double Jump: High(same as Peach's except Daisy rises faster into to the air and can't DJC.) Standard AttacksJab1: Left Hook Damage: 3% Knockback: Low Range: Short Description: A good ol' left hook. Jab2: Right Uppercut Damage: 4% Knockback: Medium Range: Short Description: A good ol' uppercut to complete the one-two punch combo. Due to being an uppercut it sends opponents at a verticle angle making it superb for starting combos on the fly. Forward Tilt: Spinning Backfist Damage: 11% Knockback: Medium Range: Medium Description: Daisy spins around and delivers a quick backfist. Despite it's lackluster range it's pretty fast. Up Tilt: Crown Bash Damage: 12% Knockback: Medium Range: Short Description: Basically the same as Peach's Melee Up Tilt. Daisy hops in place while delivering a headbutt. A good tool for extending air combos. It's also very fast. Down Tilt: Low Kick Damage: 9% Knockback: Low Range: Short Description: Similar to Zelda's dtilt, Daisy kicks the ground infront of her. It doesn't meteor smash opponents, only pops them into the air. A short ranged but fast tilt. Decent for poking and can lead to followups! Dash Attack: Base Steal Damage: 10% majority hitbox, 7% late Knockback: Medium Range: Long Description: Similar to Mario's dash attack. Daisy slides across the ground as if she were playing baseball. Has a lingering hitbox that pops opponents into the air. Smash AttacksSide Smash: Fore! Damage: 12% uncharged, 18% fully charged Knockback: High Range: Long Description: Similar to Peach's Side Smash except Daisy exclusively uses the golf club. In dedication to Mario Golf Tour. Daisy's golf club shares the same traits as Peach's Golf club. Up Smash: Crown Thrust Damage: 16% sweetspot/21% fully charged, 8% sourspot/13% fully charged Knockback: High, Low Range: Long vertically Description: Very similar looking to Peach's Up Smash. Daisy grabs her crown, whilst twirling in place she thrusts her crown upwards. Daisy's Up Smash has a distinct sweet and sourspot. The sweetspot is located on the crown while the rest of the hitbox is sour. Has a smidge taller hitbox than Peach's Usmash. Down Smash: Whirling Dress Damage: 13% uncharged, 19% fully charged Knockback: High Range: Long Description: Similar looking to Peach's down smash, except Daisy only spins her dress once rather than causing a multi-hit effect. It also sends opponents at a diagnol angle, ironic to Peach's down smash. Can kill diagnolly/off the top around 135%. AerialsNeutral Air: Twirl Damage: 9% Knockback: Low Range: Short Description: Similar looking to Peach's neutral air. Except it only has one hitbox, the hitbox also terminates much faster than Peach's. It's still an amazing combo tool. Forward Air: Double Dress Kick Damage: 12%, 6% per hit. Knockback: Medium Range: Medium Description: Daisy spins midair twice, kicking her legs with each spin. Due to wearing a dress Daisy can't lift her legs too high causing Daisy's forward air to hit at a lower angle. Good for comboing, approaching, zoning, etc. Back Air: Crown Slash Damage: 13% Knockback: High Range: Long Description: Daisy spins backwards while taking off her crown. She quickly slashes her crown behind her. Unlike Peach's Forward Air Daisy's Back Air doesn't cover an arc, giving it a slim horizontal hitbox. A strong finisher, can KO around 120%. Up Air: Crown Headbutt Damage: 11% Knockback: Medium Range: Short Description: Similar to DK's Uair Daisy cocks her head back and delivers a hefty aerial headbutt. Good for juggling the opponent and overall comboing. Down Air: Elegant Stomp Damage: 14% early, 7% late, Knockback: High, Low Range: Short Description: Daisy elegantly lifts her dress just above her shins. Delivering a powerful stomp with her right heel. If hit early it will meteor smash the opponent, if hit late it has very weak downwards knockback. The hitbox only covers Daisy from the waist down. SpecialsNeutral Special: Strikers Charge Damage: 5% uncharged, 15% fully charged. Knockback: Low-High Range: Long Description: A soccerball appears at Daisy's feet. She winds her leg backwards getting ready to kick the soccerball. A chargeable projectile. When Daisy kicks an uncharged soccerball it travels at an average speed rolling along the ground. Fully charged it becomes covered in fire after Daisy kicks it and travels decently fast and rises a bit into the air. It's hitboxes are relatively smaller than most chargeable neutral specials. Down Special: Batter Up! Damage: 10% Knockback: Medium Range: Long Description: Daisy takes out a baseball bat and swings it underhand. It reflects projectiles, and boosts the power of projectiles by 1.3×. It can also be used offensively to wack opponents away. Has slightly more shield knockback than average moves. Up Special: Acrobatic Flip Damage: 12% early, 9% late Knockback: Medium, Low Attack Range: Long Recovery Range: Medium Description: Similar to ZSS's SSB4 Flip Jump. Daisy does a series of front flips to rise midair. Daisy can control the trajectory of her jump by holding backwards to travel in a taller arc or forwards for more horizontal distance at the cost of vertical height. Once Daisy reaches the apex of her jump she can cancel Acrobatic Flip into an aerial, airdodge, special, etc. Acrobatic Flip has invincibility frames on the start of the move. If the Daisy player uses up special again or holds it throughout the jump Daisy will deliver a dropkick. The dropkick has long range as Daisy thrusts her legs forward. Can KO offstage, but beware as it has long recovery and landing lag. Side Special: Slam Dunk Damage: 15% Knockback: High Range: Medium Daisy will do a short leap into the air while holding a basketball and come flying downwards slam dunk ut. This move has a meteor smash effect. On a succesful hit a small yellow explosion resembeling a basketball net will emit from the contant. Daisy then leaps backwards away from the opponent. The basketball falls to the bottom blastline. Slam Dunk when used midair and offstage or if Daisy jump over a ledge, will cause Daisy to SD if she doesn't land on a surface. tl;dr it's basically like Peach Bomber but it's a meteor smash and is suicidal off stage. It's also literally dunking on opponents. Grab & ThrowsGrab: Grapple Range: Average Description: Daisy uses both her hands to grab onto the opponent. Pummel: Gut Punch Damage: 3% Description: A slower pummel, but deals a solid 3%. Forward Throw: Princess Punch Damage: 13% Knockback: High Description: Daisy delivers a fierce uppercut to her opponent. Can kill off the top or corner blast line above 130%. Back Throw: Suplex Damage: 12% Knockback: High Description: Daisy wraps her arms around the opponent and bend over backwards to slam them into the ground Can't really kill but can possibly throw an opponent out of their recovery range at high percents. Up Throw: Gut Poke Damage: 9% Knockback: Medium Description: Daisy throws her opponent overhead and jabs them in the stomach. Basically the same as Peach's up throw. Down Throw: Elbow Drop Damage: 10% Knockback: Medium Description: Daisy throws her opponent on the ground and elbow slams them. A mediocre throw for combos and tech-chasing. Final SmashFlower Power Damage: 20% per explosion Knockback: High Range: Long Description: Daisy jumps to the center of the stage of hovers midair. She creates a gauntlet of flower petals. She then conjures spheres of flowers, she holds them infront of her and punches them with mighty force. The spheres explode in contact with the stage or an opponent. The Daisy player can aim the flower spheres. Misc.Entrance: Daisy drives onto the stage in a go kart. She hops out while saying "Hi I'm Daisy!" Taunt1: Daisy does a little cheer and yells "Yahoo!"Taunt2: Daisy jumps for joy and shouts "I LOVE IT!"Taunt3: Daisy gently sniffs a daisy. Winning Screen: Daisy does a victory pose and shouts "Aha-Awesome!" |

| Love the idea, but prepare to deal with a bunch of "Oh boy, another Mario character" and "We already have Peach who uses sports moves" replies. While I personally don't think these are sufficient, ALOT of people will complain. I do feel like a baseball as a chargeable neutral special would make more sense though, especially in the air. But you still have my support. |

| TONS better then the other Daisy thread and you have a brilliant thread on it's own. It's got everything, nothing to complain about. Except you need reasoning on why she should be in the game outside of uniqueness and such (like, how is she relevant to Crusade, is she popular, all that)
Regardless, I most likely won't support. The thing is Waluigi represents Mario spin-offs better then Daisy could; he's really got everything but a few things over her.
Too many Mario character's is not a problem at all, so if anyone says that, they're pretty wrong. |

| I love the sports-centric moveset! It's really a shame she's barely in anything but the Spin-offs anymore. Support. |

| About Super Mario characters, Princess Daisy is my main wish one for Crusade, especially due to I considerate that her tomboy personality makes her a good candidate for any SSB-game. However, I visualize her better with her clothings from Super Mario Strikers (GCN). Also, about some of her moves, altought adding her some sports-based moves sounds as a good idea, here are my personal ideas for a moveset for her (NOTE!: Some moves I added to her are in order to further differentiate her from Peach and Rosalina: - Spoiler warning:
-Normal Moves: -Neutral (Attack Button x1): Punch -Neutral (Attack Button x2): Double Punch -Neutral (Attack Button x3): Side Kick -Side: Uses a golf stick -Up: Performs a flip kick -Down: Delivers a low Kick
-Dash Move: Performs a slide Kick
Aerial Moves: -Neutral: Performs a Flying roundhouse kick -Up: Performs a Bicycle Kick -Front: Swings a tennis racket -Back: Swings back a baseball bat, while performing a twirl -Down: Dives down with a flying side kick
-Grabs: -Pummel: Punches the enemy -Front: Daisy tosses her enemy with a baseball glove, and later throws the enemy like if he/she was a baseball ball -Up: Daisy throws the enemy, and she gives him a hit with a tennis racket -Back: Daisy throws the opponent, and swings him/her with a golf stick -Down: Daisy jumps and slams her enemy like if he/she was a basketball ball
-Smash Attacks: -Left/Right: Daisy delivers a roundhouse kick -Up: Daisy gives an upward swing with a tennis racket -Down: Daisy jumps and she delivers an axe kick
Special Moves: -Neutral Special: Striker Kick: Daisy unleashes a soccer ball. Then, she charges her energy, and she kicks the ball, launching it as a fireball against her enemy. The ball can even attack more than only one enemy at once.
-Side Special: Slam Dunk: Daisy performs a leap and slams down a basketball ball on the ground. The attack can also bury enemies.
-Up Special: Jet Striker Kick: Daisy jumps very high using her shoes, and later, she delivers a series of multiple flying kicks to her enemy, for later finishing the attack with a spinning kick.
-Down Special: Flower Swing: Daisy charges up her baseball bat; when she gets hit by an enemy, she'll later counterattack, spinning like a tornado, and giving a powerful swing to him/her. The attack can also repel enemy projectiles.
-Final Smash: Torpedo Strike: Daisy runs and, when intercepting an opponent, she delivers a kick, trapping them while throwing multiple punches and kick combos, with a roundhouse kick at the end. The Final Smash finishes with Daisy charging her energies and kicking a soccer ball which flies as a powerful giant fireball that impacts on the enemy, and launches them upwards, dealing high knockback.
However, I still support her XD. What do you think? Comment, please. |

| Support for HI, I'M DAISY! o/ I thought of a couple of specials myself: - -Neutral B:
*Charge & Release. Daisy prepares to swing her Tennis Racket. Charge is aesthetically shown via the growth of floral petals around the racket. The longer the charge, the stronger the move hits. The move doesn't turn as strong as other Charging moves like Marth's, but is instead a chargeable reflector move that can return projectiles at normal speed with weak charge or at double the speed and damage on max Charge. This move is inspired on the Mario Power Tennis offensive move. * Referencing Mario Party 3's Duel Battle mode, Daisy pulls out a Snifit partner in front of her that Shoots a single canon ball from it's mask's snout. This move also references Peach's Toad move where snifit can take hits, but doesn't counter them. * Inspired on Mario Party 5 or 6, Daisy pulls out little orbs with tiny items inside. She cycles through them in the same way Pac-Man does, but the angle of which they are thrown is always the same. The Orb latches to surfaces like a trap and cycles between a paralyzing Sparky Sticker, a jumping Podoboo and more.
- -Side B:
* Command Grab that imitates Peach's Side B Bomber, but instead grabs the foe to ground pound on top of them and smack them with her weight. This move is akin to Ganondorf's Side B. * From Mario Super Sluggers, Daisy pulls out a baseball and a Bat. She then proceeds to hit the ball similar to Dedede's Side B, except the projectile is smaller and Faster. It can be angled. * Sarrasaland Ruler: She points forward and a sprite from the old Super Mario Land appears. Just like Duck Hunt she cycles through a Koopa that explodes if hit, a jiang shi and others.
- -Up B:
* Crystal Jump Punch. Just like Zero Suit Samus, she jumps upwards and at the peak of the jump she punches. This move references Daisy's Super Strike on Mario Strikers Charged! where she jumps a good height and then delivers a mighty punch to the ball. * Smash Tennis. Jumps a shorter distance than the one above, but the tennis racket sends opponents at a more sideways angle. Special sweetspot on the bottom of the move can spike, but it's a little hard to land. The shorter height means you can aim it better to intercept opponents, but it also makes her easier to gimp. * Flower bed. Daisy travels through a flower bed that sets a defined path. While it’s easier to intercept her due to the predictable path, it’s swift and allows to be performed in any direction.
- -Down B:
* Ground Pound from Mario Party Mini games. She bounces off when hitting shields just like Greninja Dair. She fast falls while performing it. Alternatively, this can work as a Down Air. * Crystal Strike. Charge & Hold. She summons crystals around her in both her front and behind. The move comes from mario Strikers Charged! and is Daisy's Captain Move. * Hearts surround her in front and behind. The hearts grab projectiles and items she can then use against her foes. This is her Special Item from Mario Kart Double Dash!!
These are my ideas. Some are better than others, but they should add to the discussion.

Right? Poor reasoning. Karate does not equal "tomboy and tough", it equals self defense. And you can differenate her in different and better ways instead of just making her a karate girl. |

I know Dr. Mario is getting that but it makes more sense on a characters that's done it before. |

| I added images to my original Daisy post under the spoilers. This moveset below is incomplete, But adds food for thought. Jab1: Low Stomp. Lifting her dress a little bit, she stomps on an angle forward to head. This is reminiscent of C. viper's Standing jab (Marvel Vs Capcom 3) which actually hits the enemy shins when other jabs involve.. well, fist jabs. For another visual, you can imagine Peach's Grab pummel. Jab 2: Low Kick. Kicks forward to the enemy shins with the other foot while taking a step. Side Tilt/Side Smash: She moves her foot behind her and unleashes a mighty kick. Similar to Peach's Side tilt (With the kick reaching to the stomach instead), except this move is actually referencing a Mario Strikers Kick. This can be a Side Tilt if she uses a semiclone Side Smash (Hockey stick, Baseball Bat, Golf Club) Up Tilt: Headbutt Peach's Old Melee Headbutt while jumping a little. I like this one from OP's. Up Smash: Mario Party. She ducks and jumps a little bit with fist raised up. It references the motion she does when hitting the Mario party Dice. Down Smash: Crsytal Smash. She uses her captain move from Strikers Charged! where she summons crystals around her (in front and behind). Charge gives it more upwards range (The crystal comes out further up) Dash Attack: Base Steal/ Flower Bed Taken from OP's. She dives forward and slides accross the ground for a set distance. Flower Bed in turn is my idea for an Up B. It has daisy slide but with a flower effect. This move is always shown used across the ground so that's a good reference. Forward Air: Torpedo Strike. A slow move on the lines of DK's Forward Air. Daisy flexes her knees and then stretches her legs forward in a diagonal-down angle. This move references Mario Strikers though functionality wise, it may resemble Falco's sm4sh Dair with a more horizontal angle. Down Air: Ground Pound. Same utility as the one Dr. Mario is getting except Daisy actually performs one in Mario Party games. Up Air: Double Kick. Peach's Up Air from Melee while Peach gets the sm4sh rainbow. Alternatively, the roles can be reversed. Peach keeps her Melee Up Air while Daisy gets the sm4sh rainbow BUT she uses her crown in a similar fashion to Peach's Forward Air, giving it better KO potential instead. Pummel: Double Slap. Self explanatory. Slaps inwards, follows with an outwards backhanded slap. Forward Throw: Tennis Racket. Jumps with the foe and hits with her racket in a downwards motion. The Angle is not a spike or horizontal like the Up B idea, but it's got sufficient knockback to push foes off the stage. Up throw: Volleyball. She releases her opponent, takes a more crouching stance with fists rolled up and then quickly raises her arms to hit foes below the chin and send them upwards. If i choose a special from the ones I shared here I would go for: -Neutral B: Flower Tennis Racket -Side B: Baseball -Up B: Crystal Jump -Down B: Sarrasaland Ruler. A few more moves could be done from the Mario & Sonic Olympic games i feel, but i haven't played those to be able to tell what could fit.

| Her FS would be the daisy cruiser. Currently I don't really support, because there are other characters Crusade should have before her. Good moveset tho! |

Correct me if I'm wrong, but i think the point is to show your support if you like the character/moveset/Concept regardless off "If others deserve to be before them". I mean, if everyone supports all the characters they enjoy... naturally, there would be more support towards a few characters. Example: Person A votes for King K. Rool, Person B votes for King K. Rool and Daisy, Person C votes for King K. Rool and Daisy and Rosalina = 3 Votes for King K. Rool, 2 votes for Daisy, 1 for Rosie & Luma. Which means that King K. Rool would possibly be prioritized over the other two BUT daisy would be prioritized over Rosalina. Enjoying a character, but not supporting them because others should be considered first could be detrimental if you actually want the character in. No support means the dev team will not consider them at all even "Once they have added others" because "Daisy got 0 votes of support" when Rosie got 1. |

My bad, I meant that other characters movesets have more potential in being awesome rather than daisy. I feel the moveset is not good enough for a full character, but it is impressive considering the lack of playable appearance of Daisy. |

| She has to get in somehow. She hasn't been in a Super Smash Bros. game and was probably overlooked by Nintendo in favor of Rosalina and Luma. |

No she doesn't. She could possibly get in if the devs like her enough, but she doesn't have to get in. She is not guaranteed to get in, because she's literally just a recolored Peach with a tacked-on "tomboy personality", and really, she isn't even that important to the Mario franchise anymore. At least not as much important as Peach and Rosalina. |

| Hmmm. You look familiar. Don't I know you from somewhere?
Anyway, it is clear as day that she should be in Super Smash Bros. Crusade. She was a "filler character" in the side games (so was Waluigi and he is on the main SSBC roster), but she could make the cut. |

| Waluigi actually played more important roles than Daisy ever has. He was a villian in Mario Party 3 and DD Revolution and is a assist trophy in Brawl and Smash 4, unlike Daisy. I do believe she still has a chance being in but I personally do not think she's necessary. |

Not only is Waluigi tons more popular and loved, he has played roles in games, just as Daisy has, and also has potential for an extremely unique moveset besides "hiyah karate". |

| No, we should not add Daisy. At least not until Nintendo makes her a better character. |

Because we shouldn't add a character to create a small fandom belief of there being a trio of princesses that must ALWAYS be together |

| Daisy is one of my favorite Mario characters and a spunky heroine who could use some Smash love. I support. |
