Hype, that combo exists but is very easy to DI if you go to the left or right. It's still a very powerful combo tool, though, and you can still 0-death if you follow DI perfectly and combo into dair.

If you do the side B with ryu at the side (maybe just the right side) of the street fighter map (suzaku castle.. i dunno whats the name exactly) he fells down very fast and dies! Bowser seems a little bit overpowered i think.. his Flames (B) do tons of damage and his down smash hits so damn hard. If you spam Klonoa´s side b you get "permastunned" if im not mistaken.

Legitimately why are you still here. I thought you were gonna go play SSF2 and quit whining.
Honestly, just because Fleep is being rather vocal with his opinions, along with the occasional jeer, it doesn't mean he's wrong. Whether Crusade has become more balanced, more defensive, more offensive, or anything, it's clear that it's playstyle is visibly different than the old version. I don't necessarily agree with Fleep's choice of 0.8.4 over 0.9, but both it and .9T were considerably different with their comboing and offense. It's an important point that both him and I made almost immediately after the game was released, and it took me a while to realize that PH and the others' changes were probably for the best. If it took me thorough convincing to accept the new gameplay, then I would think that the old gameplay at least still held it's own, comparing the two.
And yeah, kind of bad timing because I know he's whining and not actually pointing anything out, but I wanted to get it out of the way because it's not wrong when he says that the changes won't be greeted well by every single player. If faster gameplay is why people still prefer Melee, 64, and Project M, then let them play it. The only reason I would still be bothered with this whole situation is if 0.9T and 0.8.4 were taken down permanently, but even then, I'm sure there's like 15+ mirrors of each.
You probably only tapped Side b. Ryu's side B got revamped to match up with street fighter. It has tap, hold, and EX versions, and the tap versions are different on air and ground. Tap side b air falls quickly, has low landlag and good hitstun. This is an approaching combo starter. Tap ground version iirc is supposed to blow the opponent back, as a gtfo of sorts. If this is the punishable on hit version Falcon8r, i'll fix it.
The Coin mode is bugged in some ways: 999 coins is the cap so... every match ends up with a sudden death... but maybe because you dont loose coins when ur being hit. You do loose some when you die but a little bit to late i think. Btw Awesome game, Awesome patch! =D
Ryu side B fixed up. None of the versions are punishable on hit, and each version has it's own uses. EX and hold versions do the most damage, the former being faster and stronger and staying in place and leading to helpless. The latter moves through the air and doesnt lead helpless. Tap air version is good for approaching into a followup from above. Tap ground is a blow-back.

Dude, you are a guest, don't even have an account and have made absolutely nothing to make the game better, why i should care about what you say at all?
Also, true, Sonic has dem combos so i can still play hahaha

Being a guest doesn't mean what he's saying is any less important Please both of you stop bickering
Yes, Perfect Hell, thanks... That's what I meant. Kinda missing Evil Ryu's Tatsu though since I'm so used to doing it in combos. I guess I just have to Shoryuken now instead.
I've been playing as Knuckles against Goku lvl 10 recently, and I've noticed that I'm so good that I don't get touched by him for the entire match. So I decided to test my apparent skill and fight Goku in a match with 9 stock lives. He didn't touch me during this fight either. That's when I noticed he was never attacking me, just dodging and jumping around. Goku did attack once, but that was when he was getting up from a cliff grab and was no where near me. So I guess I'm not that good, and that there just seems to be something wrong with Goku.
Also, when I was playing as Little Mac against lvl 10 Bomberman, I could barely touch him. Like Little Mac's weakness is Bomberman. Or I'm really bad with Little Mac.
And this might have been mentioned before, but the Excitebike stage doesn't load the background. It's just black. The bikes load, as do the platforms.
Other than that, great game. This has been my first time playing it, and I really enjoy it. Keep it up.
Chun Li is missing a lot of sfx actually, fixed in patch. Down smash no longer sounds awful.
To the poster above me, all bugs there are fixed.

Just a note about Kirby, those combos may seem overkill but are actually required. Kirby is super light, not that mobile, and has bad range and average recovery. Each copy ability has been balanced based on what it offers to Kirby. A move like Beam, for example, doesn't combo as well as Spark, because it gives huge range instead. Wheel, Laser and Bomb don't combo that well either, in return for incredible mobility or projectile game. The ones that don't offer anything obvious (Fire, Spark, Fighter) have incredible combo potential.

Kirby's mobility and recovery are both decent, and his aerial moves are arguably good. Regardless, a 0%-death combo shouldn't be the answer. This is as much of a solution as a hammer is a good window fixing tool.

From what I understand Kirby is supposed to be underpowered without abilities and somewhat overpowered with them

I decided to make Kirby's jump cancels not refresh jumps (for any B move that had it), other than that it will remain unchanged. That combo isn't overkill if you just press left or right. And ai above like lvl 4 will di that as well. No problem.

It shouldn't have been refreshing jumps beforehand. What happened there?

Rather it wasnt refreshing jumps, but you didnt set if air < max_jumps-1 as a condition. So you could do it even with no jumps remaining.
Another few Ryu/Evil Ryu bugs: When using his Down Throw, the effect for slamming the target into the ground appears above his head. His Neutral Aerial causes a really weird effect on hit. The opponent is blown back quickly but stops moving abruptly after a short distance. Also, the sound effect for hitting with Neutral Aerial is very unfitting. Same applies to Evil Ryu's Up Aerial (it's a kick, but the sound effect used is intended for punch attacks).
And Petey: On Q-bert, Petey's Final Smash only seems to work on select tiles. I haven't figured out what the pattern is yet. It seems more difficult to pull off Petey's Jab combo than with other characters (or am I missing something?).
Also, something weird happens if you fight CPU Yoshi on the Pilotwings stage. He continuously does short-hop DJCs - this is really annoying. Don't know whether its intentional.
