So today we see The Yellow Devil in the background, I'm just gonna say it's a stage hazard at this point, but that's just me. At least they give you a nice warning, yet it's pretty creepy having him just watch you fight from afar...

Yea, this is no doubt a stage hazard.

That just makes the stage even more amazing because of how that basically confirms that they fully modeled Wily's Castle and that it's not a 2D Stage element.

Also Today's pic makes me want to see Linebeck as an Assist Trophy, or Linebeck the III on the stage at least.

I seriously hope we get a Newcomer here, lord knows we're due for one.

Don't get me wrong, I'll settle for a Veteran, but we haven't had a Newcomer since E3. Assuming we get any new character, I'll be sure to take a visit to the chatbox soon after the Direct ends.

I don't think anybody will care. Besides, if you know there's a Direct with possible Smash news you wanted to find out there, you would go into the Smash thread of a Smash fangame forum.

Rosalina was a big surprise for me . I was expecting Bowser Jr or Fawful for a new Mario reps .

Has so much potential to be like the ice climbers. Hope it's not wasted.

I hope she turns out way better than the Ice Climbers did. They were a tag-team mechanic gone wrong, you could only even properly use them as a separate and cohesive team if you were highly skilled and knowledgeable at the game, and even then the best thing they could do with it was a bunch of game-ruining infinites.
