Crusade Stage Roster Discussion (Part 1)

For the LoZ series, I vote on 6 stages.

I say 6 stages as well

Definitely 6 Stages.

I Think 6 Wins only other possibility is 5.
So What We Have is:
Hyrule 64 = Link
Pirate Ship = Toon Link
Vaati's Sky Palace = Vaati
Hyrule Melee = The WHOLE series
Ganondorf's Tower = Ganondorf
??? = ???

Ok so this is where we are as far as numbers of stages for the Zelda series.

I'm still unsure on how many stages Mr. Mistress, RoyMaster, & Slissith voted for. So if you guys can give me a number.

I plan to leave the stage numbers poll running for a few days just in case the tables get turned.

Also guys, dont forget that for the time being, we are just picking numbers of stages, not the stages itself. You can list down what each numbered stage will represent, but were not throwing any specific candidates at the moment.

I voted for 6 stages. I've made it pretty clear.

Some sort of Tingle stage. I think someone posted a Tingle's Island stage somewhere that could also rep Balloon Fight, meaning that BF doesn't need a stage.

Well, this is my vote as of now as far as how many stages and what they will rep as.

Hyrule Castle (already in the game repping OoT)

Pirate Ship (already in the game repping Wind Waker)

Tingle stage (not one based off the Balloon Fight, but from the RupeeLand)

Old School Zelda stage (one from the NES/SNES games)

not sure on the other 2, probably based on Twilight Princess or Skyward Sword.

OVERALL: my choice will be 6 stages.

I vote five stages.
My thoughts on the stages:
1. Hyrule Temple. Classic, reps Zelda 2.
2. Pirate Ship. Reps Toon Link and Vaati.
3. Ocarina of Time Medley stage.
4. Tingle stage.
5. Skyloft. With Skyloft and OoT, we have stages that rep two of the highest rated games and the two highest rated Zelda games.

Hyrule Castle should be moved to DLC

Smash King Hyrule Castle do not represent Ocarina Of Time, Hyrule Castle first aprear in Zelda A Link To The Past .

Im assuming your total vote is 6 @generic, correct?

Plus, I dont think any current stages will be DLC.

@Kevin: According to the NintendoWiki, Hyrule Castle in Smash 64 is based off of the one from OoT

Also, I mentioned to Kevin that even though Hyrule Castle originated from LttP, the castle in Smash 64 is based off of OoT.

No, I said five.
Det has said that any stages that don't get in the main roster can be DLC. As some of the current stages are bad/can be replaced by better stages, they could be moved to DLC.
There are really no problems with it. The purpose of not removing stages was to not waste coding. If they're DLC, it'll be fine.

@Generic, Yes, it is said that stages that don't get on the main stage roster will be DLC. But remember, it has also been stated that currently playable stages will not be removed. They can be revamped, but thats it.

I'm not suggesting they're being removed, I'm suggesting they could be taken out of the main game to be placed into dlc.

But moving Hyrule Castle to DLC is pretty much removing it, expect only from main roster. It has been stated many times that there won't be any currently playable stages moved or removed entirely.

Plus, there really is not much of a legit reason to do so since it has been in most of the demos for as long as I can remember. A decision like this will only influence the same results for other contents already in the game.

Yet Onett was moved easily.

I'm not going to push as much for Hyrule Castle, as I'm okay with it, rather than not fond of it. I digress for now, but I will come back to the matter when we get to F-Zero.

Onett was removed cause of Felipe. It should not have been removed in the first place and it wasn't planned either to be removed.

Crusade's Onett looked terribad and should not have been in the game in the first place. I'd say the removal was warranted.

Aside from that, we could have a better choice. Like Magicant, suggested by Blue, who'll explain why it should be in when we get to that section.
