Who is Tabuu?
Tabuu is the leader of the Subspace Army in Super Smash Bros. Brawl's Subspace Emissary mode. On the highest difficulty, he is regarded as one of the hardest bosses in gaming due to his multiple amount of OHKO moves.
Tabuu is a character that I believe would fit perfectly among the cast of SSBC. We already have many bosses from SSBB as playable so why not add the final boss himself as our Smash Rep. The Miis represent Smash Bros in SSB4, so why not have Tabuu do the same here? He can be scaled down perfectly due to his humanoid shape and his entire moveset is based off of moves his used his boss fight. Tabuu also would be easy to sprite and to animate, well if his moving textures on his body were to be removed (which honestly would look better with the rest of the casts static textures).
Character Specifics:
Weight Class: Heavyweight, same weight as Ganondorf.
Walking Speed: Ganondorf's walking speed
Running Speed: A little slower than Ganondorf's running speed.
Size: A bit taller than Ganondorf
Standards
AAA: He does his rapid hand slap from the boss fight that do minimal damage with little knockback, but act like Meta Knigt's AAA. Finger tips are a sweetspot that do 1% more damage.
Side Tilt: Tabuu uses his eye lasers from the boss fight, but he doesn't grow in size. This move has little knockback, but decent damage and decent range.
Down Tilt: Tabuu throws his boomerang in front of him, covering as much distance as Ridley's Down Tilt does. High knockback, low damage, highish end lag.
Aerials:
Neutral Air: Tabuu surrounds himself in electricity. Acts nearly indentical to Mewtwo's Neutral Air.
Forward Air: Tabuu shoots tiny bullets from his hand that do 1% damage each and no knockback, but have a very wide spread and can really rackup damage.
Back Air: Tabuu would swing his sword directly behind him, stabbing anything behind him.
Down Air: Tabuu focuses down under him and shoots 3 small explosions after a second. Last explosion is a powerful spike, the range of the explosions isn't very good though. All hits do connect.
Smash Attacks
Side Smash: Tabuu surrounds himself in a shark-like blade and rushes towards his opponent, much like Wolf's Side Smash in Brawl.
Down Smash: This would be the Dragon Laser from the boss fight. It would have as much startup as Ganondorf's current Side Smash, but would be crazy powerful. Decent range.
Up Smash: Tabuu launches a copy of himself upwards, covering the same distance as his height.
Grab Range: Same as Samus, but same amount of end lag. He can use it as a tether recovery.
Forward Throw: Tabuu slams his opponent into the ground and they upwards a bit. Very little ending lag with this move.
Back Throw: Tabuu tosses his opponent behind him doing below-moderate knockback.
Up Throw: Tabuu tosses his opponent up then shoots a ball of electricity at them.
Down Throw: Tabuu turns into the Golden Brackets and slams his opponent down. Very high knockback, but large end lag and little damage.
Special:
Neutral Special: Tabuu fires a ball of electricity that does moderate knockback and low damage.
Side Special: Tabuu turns his hand into a blade and dashes down and then comes up in an extended U shap.
Down Special: Tabuu teleports a set distance and explodes where he lands. High knockback, but high ending lag and below-average damage.
Up Smash: Teleport. He teleports the same distance that Mewtwo does. This can be inputed like a Smash attack for a version that travels a little less, but has an ending explosion that does moderate knockback and above-average damage.
Final Smash: Off Waves. Tabuu goes into the background, opens his wings, and three red rings going across the entire stage appear. This move is a OHKO and unblockable, but can be avoided by rolling or dodging.
Get-Up Attack: Tabuu swings his sword arm around him.
Ledge Attack: Tabuu backs away and shoots a ball of electricity.
