We really should have a single thread for all future Nintendo Directs, instead of flooding this sub-board with threads for each individual Direct.

Also important to mention is that Nintendo and Sega are currently in a partnership in regards to the Sonic series with three games.
Sonic Lost World and the new M&S Olympics are only two of the three. The third has yet to be announced.

Has it been announced what the plans are for SSB4 for 3DS vs. Wii U?

"What Sakurai hopes to do is have the 3DS version of Smash Bros. allow players to build up their character through battle and rewards, then take their custom character to the Wii U version to face off against everyone. What does that mean exactly? :O

It means that people will believe just about anything. There's no knowledge of any specifics about the next SSB, There are only two things we know.

1. It's co-developed by Namco
2. It will have a high focus on refinement than content.

Considering Sakurai's not really happy with the way Melee turned out, I doubt it. And even then, I'm sure he'd find a way to limit its usefulness.

I dun care about ATs. Can I just have a smash game without random tripping? Even the casualist (is that even a word) of casuals hate it.

I wish they will not cut veteran characters, but I'm expecting it to happen

I hope they will bring back Mewtwo . He was the only characters who had a unique moseset and was cut the other one ( Roy,Young Link,Pichu,Dr Mario ) are all clones .

This. I can forgive all the other changes as long as tripping is removed.

For anyone who is wants to watch the Nintendo Direct today/tomorrow, here is the time zone listings for all American regions. NOTE: What may be obvious to you, may not be obvious to others, so don't criticize my actions.

North/South America

ADT & BRT at 11AM

EDT at 10AM

CDT at 9AM

MDT at 8AM

PDT at 7AM

PST at 6AM

I'm unsure about the European time zone other than what Ganon had posted. So if anyone wants to share that info in favor of those who want to know, feel free to do so.

There will be a Nintendo Direct today at 10AM EST

It will focus on upcoming Wii U & 3DS games of this year. Also Iwata also specify that they will discuss the SSB4 characters. Might be worth watching if interested.
