That's a terrible idea

The only thing that could be changed is Fortan to GRAND DAD, but Dust hates that meme so I highly doubt it.

actually the move specifically references dian shi ma li so turning fortran into GRAND DAD wouldnt really work

i do think racist luigi could make for a good throw tho, causing the opponent's stomach ulcer to practically explode

No, of course not, but Mario123311's example was really bad reason to remove Weegee so I used his logic back at him

"Meme" characters are things like Weegee, Malleo, Ect. That live on memery and nothing else. Characters like Villager and Wii Fit Trainer don't just live on Memery, They come from actual franchises with respective fans.

Wii Fit has fans?

Wii Fit was one of the biggest selling Wii games.

I wasn't to surprised that Wii Fit Trainer made it in.

Nothing (probably hurt it actually). At the same time, there isn't a problem with being hypothetical in terms of a more "realistic" roster.

It would make it look less like "Muh wishlist roster with what's his face from who cares, that other anime guy from whatever, that cool dude from empty space" stuff you see on deviantArt or some random MUGEN roster. Seriously, there are so many characters and not all of them really have a reason to be here (from Gooey and Mach Rider to Goku and Weegee). It would not only make the game look more serious, but it would also cut time spent/wasted on unnecessary characters. Just imagine how ridiculous it will get when all veterans (or just those that are worth the time like Dedede and Zelda) from Brawl and Melee will be added. But it might be too late to cut characters at this point.

While there are a few characters I would remove in a heart-beat, The fact that there are so many different characters just shows how much can be introduced while still feeling familiar. It also allows the public to suggest some characters that, in traditional Smash, wouldn't even have a .01% chance of being in.

Mach Rider will be fixed but he's not getting removed lmao

I actually like Mach Rider being in. It reminds me of the choices of NES Melee characters (Ice Climbers were chosen over Mach Rider, Excitabiker, Balloon Fighter, and Pit I believe)

That also gives a feeling that developers add characters just because and actually being worth adding doesn't matters much (which i doubt is the case, but you wouldn't be able to tell if you just downloaded the game). It's less "X?! IS THIS REALLY HAPPENING?!" and more like "Oh? They added X? Huh." Not all characters are done well either (like Mewtwo, who still uses dark attacks and none of attacks he uses when encountered during events, and Ridley, who isn't even standing properly or using more than 3 of the attacks he used in Metroid). But that's not the point.
