Super Smash Bros Wii U/3DS Discussion (NEW)

I got two of my wants

I like how they've handled the Mii, mine will be a Brawler for sure. As for Palutena she looks amazing too, I don't think we have a character with such diverse attacks.

Also Amiibo's are on SSB trophy stands, so I now just have to get them all.


I'm a bit pissed at the release date, but we have a firm date now.

Website updated, it confirms that the Mii's will have multiple outfits and hats.

Also this, which proves that just because somebody is revealed as a trophy, it doesn't mean they can't be more

The backgrounds look like they are supposed to match up to each other (Note Greninja/Pikachu background), so this could possibly be used to determine any further franchise characters.

The CSS reminds me a lot of the Melee one.

This may be a controversial thought, but I say today pretty much confirms the Gematsu Leak.

The reason is that before the Nintendo Event he leaked a little more, nothing too strong as he didn't have much to share but he did change the Mii's name to "Mii Fighter" which is the term coined in the game. IMO this is far too big of a coincidence to be chance.

So this is great news to Pac-Man, Chrom and Shulk fans, and I guess Chorus Men fans if there are any. As for Lucas, well it's not looking too good for him at the moment. However if this is true then it also means that there was a in-house discussion over Ness and Lucas which means that 64 veterans are not as sacred as some may want.


This is all assuming the Gematsu leak is correct, but at this stage I believe it is.

As part of the Gematsu leak it was said there was a company divide on whether to cut Ness or Lucas and they settled on Lucas getting the chop.

I'm surprised actually, I expected it to change because of the Hocotate Ship item. Or at least, use the S.S. Dolphin.

I'm not sure it's so much the FS that was OP, rather her ability to get to the ball, much like we saw Kirby in the first round dominate the items.

Not really happy with the winner of the invitational. I can already see that ZSS has a big advantage against Kirby.

Not happy about the Mii Fighters. It appears that they take up a total of 3 character slots. I would've tolerated 1 Mii, but 3? wtf.

I like Palutena though. At least I can be happy about something.
