DEATH WALKS AMONG YOUGabriel Reyes was a senior officer who was turned into a superhuman by the government. Soon after this, he was given a position in the early Overwatch and its Black-Ops unit Blackwatch. After the end of Overwatch due to a combination of problems such as many accusations about Overwatch and the "death" of Reyes, he left his past and joined Talon under the code-name Reaper.
Now a mercenary, Reaper looks for the remaining Overwatch members, killing them with ease.
Why Reaper over Tracer?I actually made this thread expecting Tracer to already have one. While I do like Reaper, Tracer would be first to join Crusade (followed closely by a shadow of death).
Why Reaper?Reaper is one of the leaders of Talon (the main antagonist group in Overwatch) and appears quite a bit in both the in-game story and comics (plus some of the trailers for the game). And personally, I would like to see him in Crusade
TRAITS*Walkspeed is slower than most characters
*Runspeed is equal to Mewtwo's (Reaper changes his feet to their Wraith form counterparts and hovers)
*Weight is equal to Captain Falcon
*When Reaper lands a special, he receives reduced knockback from opposing attack for 5 seconds (cooldown refreshes if Reaper gets a ko). These dont stack and have a 7 second cooldown period inbetween them
GIMMICKReaper has a ammo counter over his percentage (it starts out at 8 /
. Any attack that has a # drains ammo from this. And once it goes to 0/8, Reaper must reload.
MOVESETJab:Swipes forward using the butt of the shotgun
F-tilt:Swings a shotgun forward horizontally
U-tilt:Same as F-tilt but at an upward angle
D-tilt:Kicks downward
Dash:Boosts forward headfirst
#F-Smash:Shoots both of his Shotguns forward. At 50% he shoots a extra shot and at 100% he shoots 4 rounds
#U-Smash:Shoots upwards at a 63 degree angle. If the button is pressed again, Reaper will enter his Wraith form, float up and shoot on both sides of himself
#D-Smash:Shoots on both sides of himself. If the button is pressed again, Reaper will shoot again on both sides
N-air:Spins around with his shotguns
#F-air:Shoots a shot forward
#B-air:Shoots a shot backwards
U-air:Swipes upwards with a shotgun
#D-air:Shoots both shotguns upward forcing Reaper to fall down. He can still attack while falling without losing his hitbox (he cannot change his momentum or direction however)
Grab:Attempts to grab the opponent with his hand
Grab attack:Knees the opponent
#F-throw:Does a point blank shot forward into the opponent
#B-throw:does a point blank shot backwards into the opponent
#U-throw:throws the opponent and shoots them with his remaining ammo (the last one has the knockback)
D-throw:Stomps on the opponent before kicking them away
#Neutral Special {Hellfire Shotguns}:Shoots up to 8 shots alternating between shotguns (each has 4 shots). Afterwards Reaper needs to reload.
Side Special {Wraith Form}: A boost with the range of Fox Illution but the speed of Fire Fox. While Reaper is invincible during this, he deals no damage. Forces Reaper into helplessness when used in the air. It can be canceled into any tilt/aireal
Up Special {Shadow Step}: Teleports to direction indicated by the input of the player
#Down Special {Reload}:Reaper throws his shotguns forward and gets 2 new ones. The thrown shotguns deal damage and act as throwable items
Final Smash {Death Blossom}:Reaper unloads his Hellfire Shotguns at breakneck speed while shooting in every direction around himself. While doing this, the player can move forward or backward slightly. Unlike in Overwatch, Reaper also shoots upwards.
