Now here's an idea, let's change his side special back to the Minion Throw, but add something to make it not poop.

After throwing a Waddle Dee or Waddle Doo you can use the attack again to instead make them do an attack instead of throwing out another minion. The Waddle Dee will do a jump while the Waddle Doo shoots its iconic Beam.

Gordo won't do anything tho, I thought about making him shoot his spikes out but nah.

Then make it harder to counter. Make it only be thrown back by other things instead of simple jabs OR make it so that it's not "reflected" and make it a little bit weaker to balance out.

Getting back to the minion toss would certainly make Bandana dee's chances a tad awkward, and the little bud has tons of support for a crusade Newcomer.

Gordo could work like a Remote-Controlled variant of Dedede's Topspin Gordo custom
Flinging the Gordo on it's lonesome would be powerful but move at a short range, but using the Command could make Gordo shift into high-gear once it bounces, hurdling forward with more power, but becomes easy to knock back with well timing. Not as easy as Smash 4's Gordo Toss, but a Smash Attack could do the job.
Basically, a living mindgame on when/if the Gordo will speed up.

GUYS I ACTUALLY FOUND MY KIRBY TRIPLE DELUXE GAME SO NOW I CAN LIST THE MOVE I SUGGESTED AGES AGO!

N-Spec: Hammer Cannon: Dedede slams his hammer down, causing a shockwave to follow the ground BUT if held, Dedede will hold the hammer up, aiming the projectile, as a bolt.

I know some people like Dedede's Inhale as a N-Spec , but for me I see it as a grab. Just me.

I think his specials are fine as is. If anything, you can probably change his Down Special because that came from Smash bros, but be my guess

Well the Jet Hammer is basically the in between of Triple D's normal Hammer and Masked DDD's Hammer, so I'm not touching that. But considering Gooey also has an 'inhale' move I thought of the next best thing.

Maybe somewhere in between. But yeah, neutral special should be changed. Haven't played a Kirby game in awhile though, so I can't think of anything. Maybe something new dedede does in planet robobot?

Yes because having ONE identical move out of over 20 different moves is a real issue, especially since that move is pretty iconic.

You're saying that the 3 Kirby Characters who are known for their Inhale Ability (And even then, it's tweaked for every one in Smash/Crusade Style, as Gooey's is like a Command Grab/Throw and doesn't kill you if you use it mid-air and Dedede gets more range and power but can't Copy Abilities) shouldn't use it.
That's like saying that Mario and Luigi's (And also Doc's) Up Bs shouldn't be a Jump Punch.

Sonic, Tails, and Knuckles can all spindash and that's not a problem, seeing as they all have completely unique movesets and abilities that differentiate themselves from one another. The same would be true of the Kirby Characters. Besides, Gooey doesn't "Inhale", lol, it's more like a tether/airgrab if anything.

I think there's nothing wrong with that. It's when you choose uniqueness over actual iconic representation that people get wary though. No amount of "Uniqueness" will justify adding a new Link that dual wields swords.

While you might be on to something, "Changing Inhale" could also be what's making people this wary. Is there a way to keep such a representative move in a differente space? Putting Inhale as a grab gets the problematic implication that you can technically "Inhale" for eternity, meaning that the grab hitbox would be active forever if left untouched. Because of this, the only other spots i could see inhale replacing is another special... and that's not very useful.

Honestly the only switch I would like for Dedede is his Inhale and Gordo move to be switched, it feels weird with his projectile not a n-spec

Well Athorment, no Link dual wields swords. The move I put in was from Kirby Triple Duluxe. And I didn't say "Move Inhale to grab" because that's stupid. I though it could start his FS, like in Smash 4 but he's Masked DeDeDe instead.

I don't see any sort of relation between Inhaling and Masked Dedede... unless you mean to have the sm4sh Final Smash with the added Aesthetic of the king wearing a mask during it instead?

No what I mean is that Crusade's version of D3's FS is similar to SSB4 but use Masked Dedede with his electric Hammer, fire, missiles and as a finisher the ax he weilds in Triple Duluxe
