| is an arcade game released by Taito in 1986 It expanded upon Atari's Breakout games of the 1970s by adding power-ups, different types of bricks, a variety of level layouts, and visual layering and depth. The title refers to a doomed mother ship from which the player's ship, the Vaus, escapes. It was widely ported to contemporary systems and followed by a series of remakes and sequels, including the 1987 arcade game Arkanoid: Revenge of Doh. Arkanoid revived the Breakout concept, resulting in many clones and similar games for home computers, even over a decade later. The main platform is the paddle that moves to both sides hitting the ball just like in the original game, The ball causes damage but not knockband But that's not all when the plot breaks a brick exists the possibility of a "powerup" drop for the paddle, this can increase or decrease the stage hazards The effects are Green: Makes the characters stick to the floor making it difficult to jump Orange: decrease ball speed Blue: Multiply the ball in 3 Red: Lasers start to fire from both ends of the platform Light Blue: increase ball speed Suport List (6): SnivyKawaii OmegaSteve777 TaXMaN Nix~ King Proto VultureDuck Snipes88

| How big will that platform in the middle be? The biggest obstacle to this stage's viability is the size of the paddle in proportion to the rest of the game screen. Problems that can spring up can range from the camera being too zoomed out trying to accommodate the blocks, to the paddle's actual size. |

| I absolutely love this concept.
But yeah, my main problem is that the main platform is way too small. Maybe have the main platform be under the moving platform, so it's basically like Smashville with a ball and breakable blocks? |
