|  I thought it would be fun to have a topic discussing cars. These can range from daily driver to dream car! In my recent car news, I dropped a modified Scion tC I had because I done broke the transmission (it had a good run; it made it to almost a quarter million miles). It got replaced by a 2006 Toyota Avalon with a 3.5l V6, which I find can do naught to 60 mph in a hair under seven seconds, and just under 8 without dropping it into gear while revving. Not a sports car by any means, but it is quite nice as a daily driver. Very smooth. Otherwise, I have a 2001 Toyota Corolla LE with a bad 1.8L engine and 4-speed automatic transmission. The engine is toast at the crank, and the clearances aren't looking great. Total swap would be far more reasonable than a rebuild. Any fun ideas what to do with this rust bucket?
