Grunty's Furnace Fun (Banjo-Kazooie)

'In the back on my stand I shall sit, now let's see who gives a sh**!'

To start off, you see a standard platform with 4 platforms above it. The 4 rotate in a random orientation (Clockwise or counterclockwise). There is a big screen in the back, which has the logo of the game on it (Without the question). Lava is under the stage.

Now, the big gimmick: After around 30 seconds, Grunty will ask a question. This could range from trivia about anything in the game, to showing an image on the screen and asking where it's from, to even asking a question about herself (As shown in the image). Each of the 4 platforms will have an answer glow above it. You have approximately 5 seconds to get to the correct platform, after which, Grunty summons magic bolts that go after the players who did not stand on the correct platform.

Grunty waits about 15 seconds before asking another question, leading to a very chaotic match.


Of course, Grunty needs to talk in rhyme the whole time. It's part of her charm.


Thoughts, concerns, etc?



Questions will be within 4 categories:
- Trivia: A general question about one of the series within the game.

- Visual: An image is shown, and you have to guess where it's from or who the character is.
See the picture on the screen, do you know where you have been?
Here’s a character from a game, do you know the dumb thing’s name?

- Audio: A familiar sound is played, and you have to guess what it represents.
You should remember but we’ll see, if this is heard where would you be?
You pick up items on the ground, which one makes this silly sound?

- Grunty: She'll ask a question about herself. These are usually the most difficult questions, and have very silly choices.

Oh Rare, those crazy bastards. Also, this idea is great, but 5 seconds til the next question may be a bit too chaotic.

Ok fine, maybe 10 seconds. Or maybe there should be a trigger, like a button or something?

Love the idea. But i would say 15 seconds.

the gimmick for this may have been taken directly from Sackboys stage in PSASBR, but its a cool gimmick so I approve :3

As long as it is codable, I approve. Also, the first question shouldn't be asked until maybe 30 seconds after the match starts.

Now comes the fun part: We need questions. A LOT of them. It's not just going to be about Banjo, we need questions about every series in the game. And the question has to rhyme, true to Grunty.

Though, most audio and visual questions will probably use the same 'question', but different image/song and different choices.

Can a mod bring this into the Unofficial Stages section?
