| Vulture I gave you a bunch of FE suggestions on the last page, but nothing in detail. I was hoping you'd look at the names and research them yourself, for your own ideas.
Roy's suggestions all look pretty good. Not sure if Black Knight's stuff is really in his character, though.
EDIT: Oh, and, the Whitewings are probably more iconic than the Elibe sisters if we're going for a pegasi trio.

EDIT: Oh, and, the Whitewings are probably more iconic than the Elibe sisters if we're going for a pegasi trio. I was thinking that the Black Knight generally wanted to test his strength, and waited for Ike to go to him before doing anything. He appeared once in that port chapter and gave Ike the chance to run away in that 1v1 arena. You're probably right about the Whitewings, I was just thinking about the first one I was exposed to. And Gharnef is a good idea as well, but I don't really remember too much about Shadow Dragon to think of a good effect for him. Few more ideas: Pyrrhon (Kid Icarus) - Pyrrhon dashes through the field into enemies, sending out bursts of flame from his hands during periodic stops. Master Belch (Earthbound) - Exhales stinky breath that causes status conditions, such as lower defenses and paralysis. Kamek - First, he spreads magic over the field, causing platforms to rise out of the ground. After, he flies around shooting magic at everyone. Everyone loves Pyrrhon. He yells out stuff like 'I am now a Level Infinity Epic Super God... Plus!" and "What? I can't hear you over all this awesome!". Master Belch represents the 'strange' side of Earthbound, that Jeff lacks. And Poochy doesn't really seem like a good Yoshi AT... |

I did wanted to add Kamek, but it was one of the discussions so that there might be people that wanted him playable. But, that discussion is not going well so...... |

For Metroid, there could be a Metroid, doing the same as Brawl, and Dark Samus. For Sonic, Blaze could use the fire attacks, and some of the attacks saw in the Blaze boss on Sonic Rush Here is a reference video https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=9zdzOv5tMHo |

You're probably right about the Whitewings, I was just thinking about the first one I was exposed to. And Gharnef is a good idea as well, but I don't really remember too much about Shadow Dragon to think of a good effect for him. I see where you're coming from, but those are the few times he appears in PoR. You meet him in chapters 6 times in RD, and in every single one of them he actively attacks (for 4 of them he's on your side). Don't forget he was the one who approached Greil, the first time we see him. He only waits for Ike once in each game, both times because the side he was fighting for was already crumbling anyway. As for what he can do, I think he could actively seek out the character in the lead, and hit them with an Eclipse. So basically what you suggested, but rather than waiting to be attacked, he attacks the strongest player on the stage. Gharnef doesn't really have anything special. There are less iconic equivalents of him that could work well: - Alvis reps Jugdral very well, and can use Falaflame. A bit boring though. - Veld can turn people into stone, but he's not too iconic, appearing only in FE5. - Izuka can summon laguz, which would be incredibly unique and a great way to rep the laguz, but he's only a minor antagonist, and most of his stuff happens offscreen. - Lekain and Hezul could appear together like in FE10, and "silence" all the characters, i.e. preventing them from doing certain things (specials, maybe?) Lekain also has Rexaura, but like Alvis that's pretty generic. |

No particular reason, it just doesn't sit well with me. I think that a single attack, her firey tornado thing, would be enough for Blaze and she would make a great assist. Finally, the Metroid should come back as an assist trophy like in Brawl IMO. |

I'm going to add more Metroid reps, but I need some ideas for F-Zero (Having a feeling that Samurai-Goroh is going to be his own character) and (possibly) Ace Attorney reps. |

| For F-Zero, you could add Pico, or even Jody Summers (I think that's the name), heck, even James Mc Cloud (Yes, James Mc Cloud is based on Fox's father of the same name), as for Ace Attorney, no idea at all |

| F-Zero... hm. Taking after Brawl in that we're looking at outside of the vehicle...
The Skull - Laughs as fire engulfs the area around him. Dr. Stewart - Walks around looking for people to heal. Pico - The replacement for Goroh, except he doesn't attack recklessly. He chooses a target and relentlessly follows that character, attacking with some close-range weaponry (not sure what he uses, actually).
I wanted to include someone like Zoda, but there really isn't much to these racers besides personality.
For Ace Attorney, we've got a problem. We're limited due to the stage - Any character on the stage can't be an assist trophy. That rules out Edgeworth, Gumshoe, Apollo, the Judge... I forget who else there was. That said, the obvious remaining choices...
Maya - Channels a spirit into her, turning her into another assist trophy. Think of her like Ditto is to pokemon. Franziska - Whips anyone who gets close to her. Trucy Wright - Takes out a pair of panties, and proceeds to pull large objects out of them, throwing them everywhere. (Yes, she actually does this in-game apparently...) |

| I have Assist Trophy ideas
Hori Taizo (aka Dig Dug) - pumps up opponent until he or she explodes Meteo [Meteos] heavily or lightly drops blocks from the planets in the DS classic puzzle title Amitie (Puyo Pop Fever) attempts a fever mode, the higher her fever combo - the more powerful the blow will be |

| Time for another idea dump.
ROB 64 (Star Fox) - Location confirmed, sending supplies. A crate falls from the sky near the summoner, breaking to show a few bomb-type items.
N Tropy (Crash Bandicoot) - Fires energy beams accross the stage in the form of a vertical line that travels horizontally. Pushes (ala Isaac) and burns fighters it touches.
Roll (Mega Man) - After sighing about the mess, she takes out her broom and starts sweeping. Doesn't attempt to go after anyone, but any fighter unlucky enough to get caught by her broom will be swept off stage.
Rambi (Donkey Kong) - Charges around the stage, as well as acting as a platform. Basically same as Gogoat. (THIS should be Gogoat, not Poochy)
Bagura (Bomberman) - He floats in midair, throwing bouncing bombs around the field. If no one is nearby, he'll teleport to get within range.
Mumbo Jumbo (Banjo-Kazooie) - Does a chant, causing rain and wind to affect the battle. (I was considering Gruntilda, but then I remembered the stage might still be Furnace Fun)
Plasm Wraith (Pikmin) - Turns into a gelatinous cube, which then either surrounds itself with a water bubble, fire, or an electric field. May instead tumble around the stage, crushing foes.
Super Monkey Ball - Inside their monkey balls, the 4 monkeys roll around the stage, crashing into players. Serves as a pseudo-replacement to the Pac-Man ghosts.
Tried to get a wide variety of series here. I feel like we should have more interesting Mario ATs, but I'm not sure what a good choice would be... maybe Rawk Hawk or Dimentio... |

| And with that, the roster is finished. I might add a spoiler for leftovers, which are suggestions that are not in the list. The only reps that don't have Assist Trophies are Gyromite, Ice Climbers, Sin & Punishment, Mach Rider, Ristar, and Klonoa. (Unless if I decided to add more/people make suggestions ) Also will add more in the near future when there new characters from a different series. Thanks to all of you who have supported! |

| For Shovel Knight, he should probably just use his melee moves... he does have a lot of relics like a fire wand, but they aren't really iconic of him. Have him run around digging (which causes gems to fly out around him) and do his ground-stab move (basically like Scrogge in DuckTales).
Ammy is a good option too, yeah. Might be nice to get a few more Capcom ATs in there aside from Street Fighter / Mega Man / Phoenix Wright. |
