Aren't all of those horizontal scrolling?

Yeah, that's why we should save scrolling stages for other things.

Save them? We've already gone through most of the series, i have doubts we'll be getting any more than 1 or 2 vertical scrolling in total, and that's including Contra

I wouldnt mind the Waterfall stage. It seems like it'd be hella fun :3

I have played THIS Contra game if my memory serves me right, and man, the sight of seeing that guy was my Jaw popped down to say hello to China and back. So yeah....

Waterfall.

My vote will have to be Jungle Base Entrance since its probably the most recognizable stage in the series from those who have played it.

I'll put my vote down for Neo Kobe Steel Factory preferably the boss area.

Jungle Base Entrance.

So hard to choose, but I'll pick Base 1 & 2.

Neo Kobe Steel Factory.

Jungle Base Entrance. As SK said, easily the most recognizable Contra level there is and Contra fans would be way more psyched to see it than any other option there

Jungle Base Entrance please, (As long as it's going to be a scrolling stage)

Jungle Base Entrance. Hopefully, we may be able to fit the bridge in there...

If Jungle Base Entrance is a Scrolling stage with that huge wall boss at the end, I'm all for it.

(When you get there, the wall boss could essentially be something that you have to destroy to continue moving through the stage as it shoots at you)

I'm definitely loving the idea of Jungle Base Entrance.

It can be both a scrolling & stand alone stage.

How you may ask?

Well in the beginning of the stage is where the scrolling begins. It continues scrolling slowly until it gets to the Base Door. Once it gets to the base door, the scrolling stops. The scrolling wont start again until someone breaks the door open. It begins scrolling again and pass the door is the beginning of the stage where the same phase continues.

Also, this is a good way to add in the dangerous bridge from the same stage. So we get 2 in 1 with Jungle Base Entrance. The bridge can explode & collapse.

The whole base door breakdown is a very unique element to the stage since it will require the fight to stop with the players focusing on breaking the door alone or together if they want to continue fighting with the scrolling stage. The Door also shoots down enemies as well. So call this a temporarly alliance emerging to continue the fight.
