It had 27, but two of the mangs are already on the roster. Crash and Swagga.

I'll get right on it. Normals are going to be the tough one, though I have some ideas.

For DLC, appearance on Nintendo console should be ignored imo.

That was one of my plans. IMO I think at least one game in the series should have appeared on a Nintendo console, but that would probably be an issue for characters like Ratchet and Clank.

I'm going to start up a FF rep poll soon. I think it's going to be between Warrior of Light, Black/Red/Some-other-color Mage, Kuja, Cloud Strife, and Sephiroth.

And Chococbo. YOU may not see it as a good choice, but others do.

I think we should wait a while longer to start the poll for FF. Right now we are getting started with this forum, and still no word on falcon either. We currently have 10 members here, which is not even close to enough. We should try and get more members from the Original Forum. As much as we can before we start the poll.

I like the idea of Dark Matter over Nightmare. But one question. If Dark Matter uses his sword, how will it be different from Metaknights?

Also, I think Porky should be DLC as well. He is the main character that links the trilogy of the Mother series. He was the leading villain in both Ness & Lucas game. The representation of the series feels a bit empty without Porky. Im willing to sprite him also myself. I will need help for a move set though

AEM made a unique moveset for him.

See if he can post it if he can. Im curious to see how he would be unique

Surprised I havent heard much about Knuckle Joe. Though we is not really that important to the series since he is a generic enemy

Not really sure about Adeline. I would rather have Prince Fluff back rather than her.

Clarifying something about the representatives of the Big Four Series (Mario, Pokemon, Legend of Zelda and Kirby):

Each of these series will get ONE additional rep, and these reps will be decided separately for each series and independent of the rest of the roster's poll.
Example:
Mario Poll: Decide which character gets Mario's DLC spot!
-Geno
-Paper Mario
-Rosalina
-Blahblahblahexamplething

WILL BE SEPARATE FROM

Pokemon Poll: Decide which character gets Pokemon's DLC spot!
-Deoxys
-Meowth
-Plusle and Minun
-Derp

AND BOTH OF WHICH WILL BE SEPARATE FROM

I think of the Mario characters, Bowser is most important.
And if Bowser is important because of his villain role, so is Bowser Jr.

I support Bowser Jr.

I'm pretty sure Bowser Jr. is going to be on the main roster. Nobody wanted him off (except SP and his "6 reps per series" mentality).

Uh, no, I said Rosalina, Geno, and Paper Mario should be. I never mentioned Bowser Jr., he is cool n' stuff.

I say if any 3 Mario reps should leave, it should be Paper Mario, Geno, & Rosalina.

Me personally, if I can keep any of the 3, I would pick Rosalina. I was actually looking forward to her when I first saw her sprites. Though she is not a top Mario series character outside the Galaxy series, she overall more important than Geno & not an alternate like Paper Mario

Paper Mario should not even be on the roster, especially in this game being 2D. It will be too hard to tell them apart. Out of the 3, this is one choice that should not be on the roster. Having a 2D Mario sprite & 2D Paper Mario sprite in the game will cause a ton of confusions.

As for Geno, he should be DLC, he is not important to the series to earn a main roster spot.

Bowser Jr should stay along with Toad & Waluigi as newcomers on the main roster.

TBH if I had to keep one of those three it'd be Paper Mario, and I'd even consider granting him his own series icon so he'd rep Paper Mario and not Mario.
Paper Mario being 2D isn't that big of an issue, considering MG&W.
Plus, if we're going to go down the road of sprites, Paper Mario has a full sheet.

You have to remember that all sprites are pretty much 2D, so how will we tell the 2 Marios apart? They wont be able to stand out differently in appearance in Crusade

Paper Mario is much more stout than the real Mario, plus Paper Mario moves a lot differently as well since he has no visible legs.

Are all we need. Even IF Paper Mario gets his own icon, he's still a Mario character. Yoshi is borderline Mario character due to his series having to do with Mario. Only the DK characters and Wario can be considered from TRULY different series.
