Nintendo Direct: Official Discussion Thread

I'll be watching, they'd be fools not to use this to launch a new character or two. Hell, I'd settle for a Veteran.

I'd be psyched if they're thinking about an official Pokemon Fighting game.

I just hope that this direct confirms a new Pokemon for Smash Bros

Watch the whole thing, because my childhood literally passed before my eyes in this trailer. The big tease however comes at 2:11, which I think stringly hints at a Pokémon fighter. The hype was funded by this too.

Well, it's over. Got some pretty nice stuff. I'm so glad Pokémon Box has been revealed, I have a huge stash of Pokémon and this looks like a great way to store them in mass.

I'm not too keen on the designs for Mega Venasaur or Charizard, I don't know, they just look too samey. Blastoise looks awesome though.

Well to be fair, you can't expect all MegaEvolutions to have very complex designs. (I mean look at Mega Kangaskhan)

There is nothing different about Kangaskhan's design. The child's design is changed, but not Kangaskhan's.

Agreed, the idea of the kid fighting too sounds awesome to me.

Also, this Direct settled for me who I am going to get as the Starter. I'm going for Chespin, followed by Squirtle (For the sexy Mega-Blastoise) and lastly Torchic in the Wi-Fi event.

I was thinking to talk about the new pokemon and what will it do.

Again, we know absolutely nothing about it.

There is no point in discussing it until we know something other than the fact it exists.

I just watched the Direct after I got home from work. Nothing relating to Smash Bros coming from Pokemon, so yea. Hopefully, October 12th

There was really no reason to believe there would be anything Smash related anyway.

Okay, Parental Bond is more than likely going to be the most broken ability of all time. It allows the bearer to attack twice in one turn. Be sure you have a pokemon with Gastro Acid.

The second attack does half the damage of the original one.
