| 2 stages, get rid of Mute City a.k.a. Battlefield #2. Change up Big Blue to feel more like Big Blue (Melee). Add Silence as the new stage. To make it different from Mute City (Melee) and Port Town Aero Dive (Brawl), and Big Blue (Melee), the perspective should be of the racers as they go through the track. |

| Update on the 2 polls.
NOTE: I previously did consider using Maikeru's poll for the "Mute City Poll" part of this discussion, but I realized that votes can't be retracted on that thread, So I'll just follow it up from here. And on top of that, there have been suggestions for revamps not long after that poll was made.
Numbered Stage Poll
3 votes for 2 stages
6 votes for 3 stages.
Mute City Poll
4 votes for Revamp
3 votes for Remove |

| I vote remove and 3 stages. I'd also like to put up Outer Space from F-Zero GX as a stage option. |

| I honestly think that Mute City should stay. It has been a staple race way in the series and the 1st playable F-Zero stage in the Smash series. |

Good idea. There's a difference. Mute City (Melee) was from the perspective facing the racers. What I'm proposing is the perspecitve facing the track as the racers are moving. And like Big Blue, you hop from racer to racer as they go through the track. |

| Why would we want to entirely remove Mute City? That location is far too important to even consider removing it.
Revamp mute city. 3 stages
Also, OP doesn't have the Pokemon stages updated |

| It's already certain that MC is being revamped, and all other options are not even considered anymore according to the dev team, so the only vote we should have right now is numbered stage poll. |

| Well I'm sure it's going to be 3 stages... so...
I'm not sure if I want to go with Casino Palace or Fire Field... I feel like Casino Palace would be the most unique, considering we don't have anything like it yet. |

| Suggesting Phantom Road, final chapter of GX and a very unique location: http://fzero.wikia.com/wiki/Phantom_Road
Mute City and Big Blue are both representative of the original F-Zero, we need to rep something newer. Suggestions like Fire Field are more reps of the original game in a series consisting of 8 games

| I think our third stage should be from GX. It was the most successful game of the series AND is one of the newest (among several games released in 2003, one game was released in 2004). Using another track that originated from the first game wouldn't make much sense, and the next obvious choice is GX.
Possible locations: - Cosmo Terminal (some interesting things can be done here with inverted play as a gimmick. The track rotates very often and you race upside-down, sideways, pretty much any angle) - Phantom Road (Actual origin unknown, could be a black hole or it could be a computer generated track (according to wiki), very interesting and unique stage location) - Casino Palace (I don't think we have a Casino location yet, this could be pretty unique) - Lightning (Lightning is in excess here, power companies harvest it for energy. In the game, this meant lots of boost pads and a very high speed race. On-stage boost pads gimmick?) - Aeropolis (Giant skycrapers and a super-advanced high tech area. First stage to use mines in GX. Mines as a gimmick?) - Outer Space (Former space colony destroyed by meteorites and rebuilt into a race track. Raining meteors and ice as possible gimmicks)
Yes, Green Plant is also a GX unique location. It was simply renamed from X's "Devil's Forest", and so is not unique and not on my list |

| Just to give everyone a heads up, I'm not doing pre-emptive votes. You can throw in suggestions for stages to be on the poll, but I will not include it as a vote when I start the next poll unless you repost your choices.
Speaking of choices Im going to throw in Red Canyon as a potential candidate. Pretty much Goroh's encounter with falcon happens here as well. |

Again, fixing Mute City is on our massive list of things to do. If you want it to happen faster, make us some new sprites or help Sliss design the new layout. Sorry guys ;l just pick 2 or 3 stages |

| PLEASE READ
Well then, I guess its safe after 2 days of voting that its time to close both the Numbered Stage Poll & the Mute City Poll. The number of Stages Are Now Confirmed To Be 3 For F-Zero. In the other hand, since the Spriting/Coding Team are confident on rebuilding Mute City to the glory that it should be, it made the Mute City Poll useless.
Since 3 stages for F-Zero are the direction we are going with & we already have Big Blue & a future revamp of Mute City, We Will Only Vote For 1 Stage For The Official F-Zero Stage Poll ______________________________________________________________
Here are the rules to this poll:
1. You can only vote for 1 F-Zero stage of your choice no matter what your reason is. 2. You are welcome to add new candidates to the poll if you dont see a stage that is appealing to you. 3. There is no deadline. The poll will close once the topic dies out. 4. Please don't rush the topic 5. Pre-Emptive votes will not be added. ______________________________________________________________

| My vote will be Red Canyon. It is Samurai Goroh' hideout for him and his bandits. In the story in GX iirc, he challenges Falcon to a race in this stage and loser loses car. |
