Also, if we desperately need a desert stage as you say, Roymaster, AGAIN, there is still grounds for a Mach Rider stage, as that game takes place on a road in a desert.
That way, Mach Rider gets a stage, and you get your precious patch of sand.

I'm sure there will be other opportunities for a desert stage as well.

Noticing the lack of Pokemon Stadium. Will Pokemon Colosseum be filling that role?

Yea, pretty much Pokemon Collosseum is expected to take the role of Pokemon Stadium. But if you want the Staduim in, I can add it to the poll if you want

Imo, Battle Frontier is a more unique replacement for Stadium than Collosseum, as it can have the facilities rather than types as transformations.

I am Still pissed Gen support Won Lavender Town Deservis a Chance and THE REGION HAS BEEN IN 8-12 GAMES! We should have another in Kanto at least because tecknically we could have 2 Johto stages and Kanto Stages with the holes in Gen Support Why Not Region Support.

Kanto Desirves 2 stages or no saffon city. There are way to many reason to have 2 kanto stages.

@Yeti: Lavender Town would have a chance to rep as 1st Gen if Gen Support had not won. And seeing how it was a clear landslide on that poll, I cant see the opinions to change at this point. My only suggestion for this stage to get in is if it was a version of its other appearances in other Gens. So that is up to you.

This is what we will do here. We will have this 1 massive poll. They will be broken down in different categories. 7 stages have been voted by the community. Meaning that the categories will consist of Gen 2 through 5 & Spin-Offs. You can only vote 1 stage per Gen & 2 Spin Off stages. This means you can vote up to 6 stages.

First off, change Battle Frontier vote to Coloseum for me. (Forgot Frontier wasn't in 5th gen)

And now, I want to argue a few things:

- Mirage Tower. This thing is such a unique stage idea and fits in perfectly into the counterpick mold of competitive play. Basically, the stage starts off complicated in layout, but parts of the stage fall off PERMANENTLY as the game goes on, ending with a basic neutral stage layout after, say, a minute or so. You guys want another 'legendary shows up and attacks' stage instead (Sootopolis)? We've got Distortion World for that.

- Dreamyard. The Dream World has such an impact in Black and White. It has a whole website system dedicated to it, a new set of abilities for every Pokemon that changed the competitive metagame completely (Drought Ninetales, Drizzle Politoed, Multiscale Dragonite, Magic Bounce Espeon, etc), a few in-game events related to it (Darmanitan)... The Dreamyard best represents this.
However, if for some reason this stage has no chance of winning, I'll switch over to Black City/White Forest, just to knock out the boring N's Castle.


Not going to bother arguing the spinoffs, though Treasure Town is surprisingly close to the competition. And Gen 2... I'm fine with Burned Tower, actually, even though I prefer Ruins of Alph. We'll see what happens.

Change my 3rd gen vote to Mirage Tower. I wanted something unique, but apparently a volcano is somehow unpopular. This is my next favorite choice.

Also change 4th gen to Distortion World, I will be utterly impressed if something else catches up at all.

Finally I would like to make a case for Victory Road (5th gen). For those of us that don't already know, the entire exterior of the famous path to victory (no pun intended) is along a cliffside, with pitfalls and everything. The layout of the map is just asking to be a smash bros. stage.

EDIT: Wait, are we voting for pokefloats from melee or are we voting on a new original design (pokefloats 2)?

I combined them cause I figured that people are going to want to change it into PokeFloats 2 anyways. So yea, sorry for the confusion, I'll just edit it to PokeFloats 2 unless people actually want the original one

Maybe I just find it weird having an anthill for a stage... It's not a bad idea, I just feel there's better within the 5th generation.

Can someone better explain the difference between Battle Frontier and Pokemon Colosseum? Not a big Pokemon player

Battle Frontier = Place with 'Battle' facilities that have different rules within the games. The Battle Factory has you rent Pokemon instead of use your own, the Battle Tower is a standard battle session, Battle Pyramid is basically a cave where you have to find your way out, etc.

Pokemon Colosseum = Larger, more grand Pokemon Stadium. Same idea.
