My Personal v0.9 Tier List

A year or two ago my friends and I played Melee a lot and I was considered the best out of us.
My friends used Fox, CF, Sheik, Pikachu, Falco, and Marth.
While I used Mario, Kirby, and G&W.

Just a couple months ago I checked Melee's tier list to find out I used low tier characters and my friends used the high tier characters.

Lets just say I use Pichu so much in Melee that, at my school's Smash Club, I was nicknamed "Pichu" (The name has stuck to this day). Oddly enough, the other character I use on a regular basis is Roy (Sorry Fox. I like those 2 more), 2 of the worse characters in the game (I was also considered one of the better players there)

Tiers don't matter when no one knows how to properly utilize a character's strengths and weaknesses.

They do when people do know how, and most of the people at my school's Smash Club did. I just happen to be better with low-tier characters than top-tiers (Most of my "Secondaries" are high tiers, and most of my "Mains" are Low-to-Mid tier)

QUICK UPDATE!

Bowser, DHD, and Pikachu were given new placements.

Bowser has a surprising amount of out of shield options (Three as opposed to one) and has some great combos despite being the heaviest character in the game, which helped him move up to the last spot of A-Tier.

Pikachu has an insane Forward Air->Down Smash combo, that works up until higher percentages for some reason, putting him in C-Tier rather than D-Tier.

DHD moved up to the upper half of B-Tier due to having a great amount of combos, and a solid zoning game.
