Lara's bow imo should function like link's Bow except while you're still holding B you can angle the shot up or down. The shot would also be slower to draw but stronger, with a longer minimum draw time. This is different from Crash's Bazooka, which enters a repeated firing mode.

isn't that similar to Pit's Light Arrow attack except with the additional option to shoot downward? I know Pit can shoot at 3 directions (front, back, and up), so would this give Lara a 4th one? Not that its a problem, just asking.

Does it really need to be all that different? A subtle difference is plenty. They are all bows and bows are pretty damn simple. It's no different than all boomerangs working only slightly differently from one another.
