The End Of Suggestion Polls

On behalf of the Super Smash Bros. Crusade Administration Team, I would like to publicly announce that the forum will no longer hold the Suggestion Poll.

The Suggestion Poll was formerly known as CrusaDLC during the early days of this community. This was a content that originated during the final days of Crusade's Proboards forum. It was created to give both the development team and the fanbase can equally get what they want. Eventually, CrusaDLC was revamped into the Suggestion Poll, in which it was a more-elaborate poll with more control of the poll itself.

The reason for the closure is simple. The Crusade Development Team feel that the poll doesn't go in-depth with what the people really want. The Unofficial Character Boards, which You can find in the Character Discussion section of the forum, gives people that opportunity to discuss in details on who they want and how the character can fit in the game. A character shouldn't be determined on statistics alone, but also what can be done for the character that would benefit the roster in the long run.

If you have any characters you want to suggest to the developers, please create a topic for the character you want to suggest. Characters will more than likely be considered based on the activities of the specific topic and what ideas are being shared. Therefore, with Suggestion Poll gone, you still get to keep your source of sharing your ideas and support for a potential newcomer.

Although I'll most certainly miss the polls, this is far more comprehensive. A thread for requesting, a thread for campaigning, and then a disorganized list of mismatched characters probably wasn't the prime solution for character selection. One thread per character is definitely all one should require.

Yeah great idea. I never thought of it, but now it reminds me of the current rating system for video games. Same problems. We need to talk about it and share our thoughts instead of just leaving a vote. Yes or no, too simple.
