Could we have this be Shadow's unique victory theme, similar to Meta Knight and Bowser's unique victory themes?
While the game itself wasn't all that great, for some reason this theme really stands out as a "Shadow"-type theme. Probably for the wrong reasons, but it still seems appropriate regardless.
Relatedly, could Bowser have his unique SSB4 victory theme as well?

I'd say to a lesser degree, since Knuckles is still part of the main trio and he's more connected to them and doesn't propose a thematic Juxtapose warranting of a theme change sported by the likes of Meta Knight, Bowser, and of course Shadow.
But then again, I also see no reason why not, if Tingle can also receive his own. : P

Tingle has his own because he's Tingle...
He also has his own series of games. Hence why he also has a unique icon instead of the Triforce.

See I thought a reply like this would follow. Yes, I'm aware that he's got his own unique game icon and everything, it was more of just an offhanded remark. xD
But still, I see no reason why Knuckles shouldn't have one either if we're negotiating.
In fact, come to think of it, why not give everyone unique theme song files? The songs could be shared between series', of course, and not every character would be explicitly unique, but giving them their own designated files would allow for those who wish to mod the music to give a character that they think should have a different or unique theme said different or unique theme.
EDIT: You actually can. Wow, you all really thought of everything, didn't you?

Dislike that he really lacks empathize on his actual abilities. All his smashs are basically melee moves and his teleportation is barely implemented in his kit at all (to me it feels like side and down smash are almost identical in when they kill). His nair could emit a nova around him which grows larger but is weaker for a better disruptive approach perhaps? His dair could shoot down chaos spears in a triangle or something (feels too much like sonic, give shadow a better defensive game perhaps?). Split about the side special, has some fun uses but his down special just seems silly to me and is pretty much a sonic move. It has uses but it just feels super wrong for shadow to have it. Imo he plays like a brawly version of sonic instead of relying on his actual powers. Nevertheless, having fun with him as well but could be better.

Suggestions for your consideration:
Make D-Spec basically F-Spec, but have it move downwards in the air; More or less, like an alternate version of the Falcon Kick.
Move N-Spec to F-Spec.
Change N-Spec to a faster version of the Homing Attack that hits for fire damage.
Reasons why: F-Spec is loved for its emphasis on speed, but having it move sideways in the air while being a D-Spec would seem awkward IMHO. N-Spec in Crusade was F-Spec in the PSA that Shadow's moveset is based off of, so it surprisingly feels much less awkward than one might think during execution. Current D-Spec, while based in canon, feels a bit too generic and doesn't emphasize Shadow's character that much. Lastly, the Homing Attack is just as crucial to Shadow as it is to Sonic, as it has been a critical part of his moveset in every one of his appearances outside of Battle (which is a game where even Sonic lacked the homing attack); In fact, in his first appearance in SA2, it was his only method of attack outside of a flaming roll and an ineffective spin attack (both of which Crusade lack). Plus, I like the orange Homing Attack trail. But that's a personal preference.

How? For example, if I wanted to give Luigi his own theme, would I just call it "Luigi"? I assumed that it would load the Mario theme no matter what lol.

IMO Shadow should be able to float for a bit using his skates (Similar to Peach and Goku)
Mainly because of his trash recovery :/

I really hope Shadow does get some minor moveset changes. Because what Shadow is really missing is a move based on that one time Shadow kicked Silver in the head.

Not to double-post, but I just came up with a simple idea that could be pretty easy to add.
Chaos Magic for his U-Throw?

It was funnier when he did it to Tails in Sonic Boom U, but whatever. In any case, I agree completely.

Now if I had done that, how you would you have gotten the notif for this suggestion, hm? It's a conversation spark, the double-post is unfortunate however.
So we're doing the kick to the head, then?

If you really wanted you could've copy+pasted the old post, deleted it, then re-posted with the new edited information. Would've alerted people of the new information (since it would've been a "new" post).
But since you double-posted... that's... 30 lashings. Wait here while I grab the whip.

Double posting doesn't matter past like five days or something Does it really actually bother anyone or is it just an arbitrary rule Unless it's like, immediately after the last one. Then it just makes you look dumb.
