| Well, His final Smash has been replaced with a Mega Evolution. The More-than-one-Final-Smash Problem's one that Needs solving... And I think I might have the proper solution. |

| Okay. I have a huge problem with Lucario. Don't get me wrong, I actually mained him in Crusade 0.8, but the one thing that bothers me about him is his Down Special: Double Team. First off, Lucario doesn't learn this move naturally, unlike Greninja with it's Substitute. Now, this is usually not a problem, as we've seen with Charizard's Rock Smash, but there actually is. Unlike Rock Smash, pretty much EVERY SINGLE POKÉMON EVER CAN LEARN DOUBLE TEAM. Heck, it would make more sense for Pikachu to have Double Team than Lucario. Now that we've gotten the move issue out of the way, what about it's effect? Is there something wrong with that?
Lucario is a powerful Pokémon, capable of hitting opponents up front or from a distance. His high Attack, Special attack and decent Speed make him a sweeper, especially with his new mega form which, by the way can be combined with his Crusade Final Smash because let's be honest here, that one was the coolest one in the game. Anyway, Lucario is not the kind of Pokémon that sits around and waits for the target to attack it. With Greninja it makes sense, it's a ninja, ninjas are stealthy and like to hide. The majority of the Fire Emblem characters are swordsmen, they don't have that many "Special" moves and thus they get a Counter instead. Little Mac's game is about dodging and punching, of course he's gonna get a counter! (I have no idea about Shulk tho) But Lucario? A counter for him is just...odd.
So, here's MY suggestion. Anyone who wants to add Pokémon to Smash should play the street fighter-ish fighting game Pokémon Type: Wild. Made by a guy who used to animate the Pokémon anime, it's a fighting game featuring 9 playable characters, one of which is Lucario. He has 6 special moves, more than any character in the game, and most of them are natural. There's the obvious ones, like Aura Sphere and Close Combat and then there are stranger moves like Metal Claw and Iron tail. Sadly, since Lucario can't learn Iron tail for some reason, the move we will be using is Metal Claw.
Since I really like Iron Tail in that game though, I had the idea to combine the two moves: Iron Claw, if you will. Both of the moves are shown in this video, Iron Tail being the arch-jump attack and Metal Claw being the uppercut-esque move. So for this "Iron Claw" move, how about having Lucario jump in an arch and use metal claw behind him upon landing? Think Sheik's Bouncing Fish move from SSB4, but instead of attacking anyone beneath him, he attacks anyone next to him. They could add that you have to hold the +D-pad in whatever direction your target is upon landing, but I digress. |

| The thing is that Lucario IS a defensive character overall. Of course he can play more aggressively but that's usually when his damage has risen somewhat (and even then you'll have to play a bit defensively). A counter actually makes sense for a defensive fighter like Lucario. |

But not for a Pokémon like Lucario, which is what he should be like. If you want a defensive fighter, get a defensive Pokémon. |

But not for a Pokémon like Lucario, which is what he should be like. If you want a defensive fighter, get a defensive Pokémon. In Pokemon he's definitely more offensive BUT in Smash he has a more defensive playstyle because of his aura function. If this was Project M I probably would've agreed with you since he is very much an offensive fighter there. |

| Mellon, are you aware that Double Team has 2 functions in this game? Tap for an offensive approach-dodge, hold for a counter. |

| In my opinion, I like Lucario and he's the character I use the most in all my mains, but the only thing I don't like are some of his sprites, for example, I dislike his taunt, seems a little... well, odd. His down normal attack, in wich he gives a kick, seems to also have the same issue I'm talking about, I'm just saying that the sprite is the same but modifying it while leaving the rest as the same. And at last, I just would like that his standing animation wasn't so... quick, I would like to see him having a more detailed standing animation if it's possible. I know that maybe I'm asking for a lot just for one character, but I'm not saying that this should be ''fixed'' from a day to another or anything like that, but I would gladly be grateful if these visual issues were fixed as to make Lucario seem more like the great fighting/steel type Pokemon he is. Hope that what I ask actually appear when this game gets updated. |

If you look closely, you'll see that a lot of Crusade's sprites are way worse than Lucario's as of right now *cough* Samus *cough*. |

| Krystal,DK,fox, falco, pika, and many more also have terrible sprites. Thankfully, the devs are aware of that. As for luke,i have a question. Does his final smash only gets one person? (this also aplies to all the other similar final smashes like falcon, ryu, wright) If that's the case, its very underwhelming |

Currently (v 0.9), Lucario still has the same final smash he always had. |

| I feel like Pokken Lucario should be looked at in a similar way to Hyrule Warriors Link (i.e. as an Alt of Lucario). If it isn't like that, I don't think it would be wise. |
