I don't want too many arcade stages, but I'll support Frogger...
Imo, Pong is needed somewhere, but not as a stage. Maybe as an item or something.

Pong. As. An. Item? How does that even work?
Pong should be a stage. Even if we have to rotate the game 90 degrees. That would work pretty well.

Unless we had the two paddles on either side and the ball flying between them. It could hit the players, who would fight on a central platform. the paddles could also save you from flying into a blastline.

We could theoretically have infinite, but where do we stop? We don't want 200 stages here.

Besides, do we want all of our misc stages going to arcade reps? That is a terrible idea.

How many arcade stage do we really need? Any more than 10 and your talking about 10% of our stages going to non-nintendo sources in a nintendo based fan-game.

I would give these arcade stages a chance.
Asteroids Centipede Snake Tron Frogger Pong Breakout
as well as
Fix-It Felix Jr. Donkey Kong Donkey Kong 3 (Stanley the Bugman)
those last two are Nintendo relevancy

I really can't see Centipede as a stage. Tron would be fairly interesting though.

DK Arcade stages aren't misc stages so aren't eligible. Remember we already have Space Invaders and Q*Bert (and Metal Slug if that counts), as well as Asteroids getting support... we really shouldn't have more than 5 or so.
Also remember we only have 11 slots if we go to 120! 10 with Asteroids, then 9 with a Cave Story rep, 8 with Nintendo Land. We're shrinking this down, any arcade stages ruins chances for other series (Animal Crossing, Spyro, etc) that deserve something.

in general you should not take the stage number into account at all. it is not an oracle.
also, there could be always some stage removal polls later on with which you could get rid of even newly added stages.

That's not what he was saying. He simply thinks we should have more stage removals later on. Probably after we've finished with the next batch of stage replacements and miscellaneous additions. And that we shouldn't worry about a cap on stage roster when suggesting arcade stages. We'll add as many as are good, popular suggestions and take it from there.
Current suggestions are seriously lacking in Kingdom Hearts. Any ideas for a good KH representative location, preferably from the Nintendo line of KH games? I only played the sony games, I think it makes more sense to pick from the DS games though.

how about a no
People vote for what's brought up and you will simply not achieve the perfect fits for remaining spots in first try
you can't
it's impossible
So instead of pointlessly complaining suggest stages and have in mind that everything that gets in might get cut in future, unless it's done and in game.

Update!
1. I already said earlier that stage removals can be suggested ANYTIME from now on. Just saying this in case people missed this(and some did it seems).
2. For a misc stage to be approved. It needs at least 11 votes. The number of votes needed might be changed another time, so we'll see.
3. The stage number discussion/voting will be held off until further notice. Possibly not until a very long time. Because the stage roster keep getting constant changes and people can change mind pretty quickly. And if we have too many stages in the end, we'll just remove some of them. Simple as that. I suggest that we decide the stage number when we have reached very far in stage development (or the game itself). So don't expect any conclusion for this matter pretty soon.

I'll throw in a suggestion for Castle Oblivion (Kingdom Hearts).
It's the first location in KH on a Nintendo console, serves as the hub for the second KH game on a Nintendo console, holds the main villains of KH2, and can be melded into whatever we want. It's a castle of illusions and can create any other world from any KH game. Thus this stage can include Traverse Town if we so desire! And whatever else. Of course, if we don't want a tours stage, we an still have the background and hazards change or any other sorts of gimmicks.

Yep, that's the one i was trying to remember. I vote for Castle Oblivion
I also vote for: - Asteroids - Dragon Shores - Nintendo Land - Sloprano - Plantation - Tropical Island - Pufftop - Goo Corporations
And I'll suggest a new one from Trine 2, an extremely popular indie game and launch title of the Wii U: Dragon's Lair. I'm not sure if this is the official name for the location, or if there even is one, but it's where the last boss fight takes place. Note: The following video contains spoilers. Skip to 2:15.

Update!
1. Man, there's a lot of suggestions for misc stages. Kind of overwhelming to update them when there is so many of them. If a stage has too few votes, I am considering to remove them from the list on order to keep it more clean. It's already a hassle to skim through the post to update stuff, one-by-one. Please keep that in mind.
2. Since Asteroid (Atari) has gotten at least 11 votes, it's now confirmed to be in the stage roster!
Tropical Island (Animal Crossing) -RoyMaster4 -AEM -Kaizaran -BluePsychic (I just assume you would go with this one for now.) -Dig Dug -Keven -Perfecthell4 -Mr. Mistress (STOP)
EDIT: Added the votes that came after this post. And added Mr. Mistress's replacement and removal vote for Meteor Comp. And removed his removal vote for Opera House.
