Like Luigi is to Mario, Slippy is to Fox/Falco.
Slippy is your not-so professional frog. He gets literally caught under attack about all the time. The first seconds you pilot your Arwing, you will hear nothing but the most constant annoying voice overall in the game...
"Fox, get this guy off me!He literally won't stop until you shoot down the baddy. Few seconds or probably on the next stage aswell, he get caught in another attack and will repeat over and over again. However, unlike Starfox had alot of catchy lines, This was the least favorite but still appreciated and is what makes Slippy what he is today: a dumb and worthless toad.
MovesetAs i mentioned before.. Slippy is to Fox/Falco as Luigi is to Mario. Slippy's moveset will be somewhat similar to his pilot teammates but will have some iconic ones in aswell. Heres my moveset suggestion:
B - Wrench Toss
Again, Slippy is more like the coward of the team. While everyone has a Blaster, what does Slippy do? Throw his handy wrench. It does heavy damage when in contact with foes. Keep in mind that once he throws it, he cannot throw another until the wrench on the field is removed completely. Yes.. This means that the opponents can use it aswell. Poor Slippy
Side B - Illusion Toad?
Instead of Illusion dashing like Fox and Toad, Slippy will Illusion Hop. When he touches the floor, he'll get back up. But like Luigi's Up B, if he misses: He'll get punished within his last frames of recovery. However, it will be one of Slippy's best moves in the game as it will be a recovery move for him. The only downfall: Unlike Fox's and Falco's Illusion Dash, Slippy's Illusion Hop does not cover that far of a distance but does heavier damage when landed on foes.
Down B - Green Barrier
Fox uses his barrier to deflect projectiles. Falco can kick his barrier. Wolf can counter at the beginning of the barrier. Slippy's barrier.. is both worthless and useful at the same time. Its like a combination of the three but with a slight disadvantage. Slippy's barrier is way shorter than the other and can only be used
In front of him. However, like Falco: If you hold down B long enough with the barrier, he can use it as a throwable item. And on Wolf's traits: Slippy's barrier has a counter shock at the beginning so any rushing foes will get knockbacked a little
Up B - Fire Toad
Its the same like Falco and Fox's Fire Recoveries but the changes are that its duration is shorter but gives off a heavy kick at the end.
Final Smash - GET THIS GUY OFF ME!
Slippy will try to perform Arwing (Falco's Final Smash) but gets invaded by a group of enemy aircraft Wherever Slippy tries to run, the aircraft will shoot. This also damages players. There will also be enemy aircrafts coming from above and trying to rush at slippy. This only last for a couple of seconds
What do you think? Good or bad? As always, it doesn't need to be this moveset so if you'd like: You can change it up. Also, it reps up the StarFox series i guess
