Steam has also confirmed through the official mailing list that there will be an update today, and will contain all three new items.

Was playing MvM on the Big Rock map, and I joined a game (it was on the 2nd round out of 8, also my first time trying Mann Up on this map)

I notice that everyone (except 1) has 20+ tours and 2 of them have pretty sweet unusuals (I think one was an orbiting fire modest pile of hat, pretty sweet)

I go Demoman since there wasn't one (rest of team: scout, soldier, pyro, heavy, engie), since I figured that if I didn't go him they would yell at me

We go pretty smoothly for the most part, except at one point where people got disappointed at the scout when we missed about 100 something credits, but it was ok

We get to a round with uber medics, then all of a sudden

DEMO YOU BETTER GET UP THERE AND GET THOSE MEDICS MAN OH LORD

I do decently for a few moments with the medics, though then I get rushed by a pyro (which I think happened because of my stickies bouncing him), so I have to rush back to the dispenser to heal

I continue to spam stickies, etc, though all went to hell for me when the Giant Deflector heavies came out

I died once, ran back to the entrance since everyone was taking the teleporter (Heavy and Pyro first it seems), then I sticky jump right into the front of the same giant heavy, and he kills me again (though he dies right after)

I then respawn again, and I take the teleporter - OH HEY ANOTHER GIANT HEAVY- I die again

So I decide to screw the teleporter, and try to get back over to the rest of the team, when I notice they're all in the back while I'm at the front, two giant deflector heavies coming towards the bomb drop zone

I start trying to deal some damage to the heavies, though I screw up a bit with detonating (damn trackpad, my fault for using one), and I almost die again though eventually the rest of the team comes

We end up losing with one giant heavy having about 5% or so health left, and they all start yelling at me cause I didn't get the medics, saying that is why they lost (which is bull since there were barely any uber medics left when the giant heavies were coming towards the bomb drop zone)

They end up VOTE KICKING me, obviously butthurt about losing the game
I'm assuming they wanted a scapegoat "oh it's not MY fault, it's the demo's fault"

Obviously I'm a bit troubled by the experience, since I'm sharing it, though at the same time I was laughing while I saw the votekick thing come up, saying "votekick player: StayPuft"?

We really need to set up another MvM round with Crusade people at some point

I'm up to it.

Mann Up mode can be hell with players who farm Botkillers. I've been kicked almost instantly several times for not having a full tour under my belt, without even playing yet.

Damn, another group of jerks who plays the blame game. Well, I am up for some Mann up(Or boot camp if everything else fails..) too here. When it comes to tickets.. I can get some myself or something.

It doesn't have to be Mann Up, just a group playing some MvM

I'm game for that.

Hey guys, want to play some MvM, with a Twist?
What I am saying is that we could do what I call:

THE GUNSLINGER CHALLENGE!

In case that isn't obvious enough. The goal is simple, try to beat all waves. With 6 Engineers, all using the gunslinger. No other wrenches period. But you can use any primary or secondary weapon. But Frontier Justice or Widowmaker is recommended. With Pistol as secondary. If you don't have Gunslinger, you can either get one by using the trial from the store. Or have whoever having a spare to give it to you.

Whether this will be done on Boot Camp or Mann Up should be talked about before we start. Which map and mission will be discussed when we have formed a lobby together. When we will start the challenge all depends when the others have time. Preferably I want this done on weekend or the next week. (Or today if we are fast enough). Specified time will need further discussions.

I finally finished got all 57 new items in the Robot update

I also had some serious luck unboxing, I managed to get an Unusual Armored Authority with Time Warp! I was worried that the value would decrease as it got older so I put it straight up on the market and I now have not only a Misty Skull Drill Hat, but a Sunbeams Stuntman too

I envy your ability to get fictional hats with little effects on them.
