Sound plays during the beginning of each match, but...

Hi there, I'm relatively new to these forums, as I usually don't use these ones... at all

But there is a bug that's been... well, bugging me.

Every match I play begins with the sound effects being normal, playing when and how they should.

But then, out of nowhere, the camera will zoom in really fast to the bottom of whatever stage is being played on, and then swiftly
return to the match. That's annoying, but nothing I couldn't handle. But it was after this camera effect that, 9 times out of ten, would
begin to cut out the sound effects; it would be gradual as the match progressed:

-After camera bug, the sounds begin to randomly cut short, or are delayed
-After a few minutes, some sounds don't play at all anymore, and mostly only jumping sfx and some random grunts from characters are still
audible
-A few minutes after THAT, all sound refuses to play until the match concludes

I haven't seen anyone else with this problem, so I'm thinking it might be something on my end, either way, some help would be much appreciated.

The camera thing usually happens when assets fail to load. However, that' usually an unrecoverable error.

Do you have another harddrive you could try putting crusade on and running from there? Do you have any antivirus programs running?

Well, funny enough, I managed to fix this on my own, and figured out how it triggered.

Essentially, whenever you put up your shield in-game, that zoom-in effect happens, and the sounds cut out, I tested this
multiple times on different maps, and it worked each time

So, by that logic, I went into the sfx folder, deleted the sound shield_up, and the sounds now work as intended

idk if this means anything, but you might want to see if this happens to anyone else, as the sound might be bugged.

Either that, or it was just a bad file on my dl, either way, I managed to find a fix, sorry about that!
