Why Plusle and Miniun in Super Smash Bros. Crusade?
plusle and miniun is two pokémons from gen 3 or ruby and sapphire and these two are perfect to join for cast of fighters from super smash bros. and they are a type of mixture of ice climbers with pikachu

Why Pikachu Alternate Character?
because that the moveset is almost the same
