Slowdown after Direct X Install.

I had a very stable and high FPS before installing the Direct X thing that would pop up before starting. I would always ignore it then have the game take some time to load, but it always would. Now after installing it the game runs at around 1-3 frames per second, and I haven't been able to find a fix.

Maybe just uninstall "Direct X"?

No, no, no! Don't do that. In case you didn't know, DirectX is a program by Microsoft to run various applications, mostly for games. (some popular games also need directx to run) Deleting it would be almost wasting all of your PC gaming life.

Try installing the latest version of DirectX (DX11).

Windows 8 won't let me reinstall it. Besides the lag started when i downloaded 11. I think I had 9 before... Not quite sure.
