Simple mode seriously waters the game down, I wouldn't recommend it.
It's great for beginners to fighters though, I played Simple at first, but I then moved on to standard and I found it a load easier than being thrown in the deep end. If you ever want an entry into the fighting genre it is easily the best thing for the job.
Ah. I played SSF4 a lot before I got UMVC3, so the transition wasn't difficult for me at all.

The word on the street is that 2 cars aren't actually Ratchet and Clank, and actually they are Cloud and Sephiroth, backed up by the placement on the bullets on pic 4 looking shockingly like Cloud, so this may be awesome. I think I'd like to see Cloud revealed over R&C because let's face it, we know that they are there, you can't do a Playstation All-Stars without Ratchet.

It's a little unsurprising sure, but it's nice to see them finally confirmed, otherwise there's always that little bit of you that fears they aren't there. For example I know that Ratchet and Clank are obvious choices, but their lack of a reveal leaves me quite fearful that they won't be in.
I don't much care for Jak (I only ever played Jak X and a bit of Jak 1 though), however I love inFAMOUS so I say it was a good reveal.

Hmm, at least we got them out of the way. (Jak and Daxter were revealed on Paul Gale Network before this game actually had footage, and Cole was pretty much all but confirmed, especially with Toro revealed).
So, next reveals are likely Crash Bandicoot (orange), Ratchet and Clank (yellow and silver), Sackboy (a little gun and a big gun; LittleBig), and Snake (La lei lu le lo).

They also seriously need new music for when they show off new characters.
It fit for Heihachi and Toro well. Pretty well for Jak and Daxter. But it sounded terrible for Cole.
I also want to see how they would make Snake different from his Smash and Dream Mix appearances. Since they're both very similar to each other.

I'm guessing with Snake they'll make him a jack of all trades. I reckon he'll get Sly's camo power over a shield, and he'll have Long Range attacks, along with some CQC moves. I haven't seen a PASBR character use a grappling move yet so that would be pretty unique.

Now I think about it, the only clue we had to Snake is La-Li-Lu-Le-Lo. That's not really a hint pointing towards Snake, it sounds like we might be getting Big Boss instead.
This sounds plausible to me, and it sounds a load better than my theory of John Marston.

If only they were still owned by Naughty Dog and Insomniac, then we'd have them for sure. Unfortunately Activision are penny pinching feces-heads who take memorable characters and mangle them in a vague and pointless attempt to make the characters more "Hip". They own the rights to both characters now, so expect Tattoo Crash and Dogface Spyro if anything I'm sorry to say...

Tutorials? I never thought of them before, but that would really benefit Smash for casual players looking at advancing. Also looking at the Ratchet picture, he seems to be in ToD attire, which is pretty odd given that it's not the first or the last game in the series.

Kinda disappointed about Snake, but atleast we have Raiden. Unless that's not the final roster (which i suspect). Some of the Paul Gale rumors have yet to be confirmed though. The minions i imagine are going to be like Assist trophies. Also looks like there are going to be alot of modes. My excitment for this game just keeps growing.
