Playstation All-Stars Battle Royale

I know, I can still dream...

Anyway, looking at the characters I posted, I sorted ten of them who should be the unlockables. I also included the leak.

Cloud
Crash (Classic Version)
Lara Croft
Connor Kenway
Spyro (Classic Version)
Kat & Dusty
Ryu Hayabusa
Jin
Kazuya
Sora

This would be a starter roster of 20, with 10 unlockables bringing the grand total up to 30 characters. Sounds fair to me, even though the roster is pretty generous already.

Paul just added a new article. It said that there are still more characters to come, but implyed that we will not hear of them until the games release. There's was this interesting quote in the comments though (Paul had taken a picture of him phone to show a text conversation, he covered up the confidential stuff with a Square-Enix postcard)

This could be another fake, but this looks very genuine. I never saw the artwork before for Gravity Rush and the video at the top looks like a new character model.

If this is genuine, and seeing as the LocoRoco stage has been shown, yet not with the pink think stretched like that it seems likely, then Kat is pretty much confirmed. Also the thing in the background seems to actually be a SotC Collossus!!!

Lastly, I'm about a month late reporting this, but Superbot have said that the website leak was a hoax and have said the only Tekken character's in the game are Heihachi and Kuma (As a Super).

Oh great. Kat looks like an interesting character.

No new characters, but it does officially reveal the leaked Sly Cooper, Resistance and LocoRoco stages. LocoRoco is twinned with MGS, Sly Cooper with LBP and Resistance with Starhawk.

Hmm, rather disappointing that he leak ended up being the FULL leak after all.

Strange though that David Hayter was mentioned to have done voicework for the game; guess Snake is merely a background character.

With a bit of luck he only means the starters, similar to what Smash did.

Paul seems to be saying there's more characters out there. He's fairly vague though.

It's also fair to point out that the IGN Article said 20 characters.

While Paul said the current roster was 22+.

He's just put up an article about that, he seems to think that he was given false info, in order to catch who has been leaking the info to him.

They aren't, to them it's a Platform Fighter. It's only the public saying that is rips off SB. I think that's ridiculous though, you name one game that was not heavily influenced by another game.

Paul has sent the letter to SuperBit now about the last info, here's one chunk I noticed and decyphered. Looking at the comments other people are saying the same thing.

Final characters just got unveiled by Paul!

For the tl;dr people, here's the basics. (Note that Paul isn't 100% on this, but this is what he was told)

It wouldve been terrible to not see Crash in a Playstation crossover game.
Glad he made it, even if I can never play it

Sucks that there's no Spyro, but at least Crash is in.

New character videos for the original six, so they're more in line with the newer character videos. No word on if there will be Drake or Big Daddy videos.

Well, the Beta is out over here. Anybody else played it?

I've had a single match with all six characters so far, and I'm decent with anyone except Parappa or Fat Princess (I'm not bad with FP though). Out of the six characters so far, I think I'll be maining Kratos and Radec.

The AP system works better than I thought it would, and the range characters work better than I thought they would. One concern is that Radec may end up being another Metaknight, because he's so badass. Even his Level 1 dominates. Another concern, is that while the stages are beautiful, they are incredibly dull and simple, for half the time in Hades World for example the stage is completely flat, and at its most interesting it is still just a couple of raised platforms either end.
