Talk about the games, series, accessories, etc related to Nintendo.

I guess I can start it off.

Mario series: Though I respect the series for all the memories it has given us through the years, I feel that the series has grown to become overexposed, too cheesy, and tiring. I can't remember the last time I wanted to buy a Mario game other than New Mario Bros Wii, which I never got sadly. Before that game, I can't recall any other ones.

Yea I know right? Its not just kidnapping Peach really that got me tired of it, the motive of it just never changes. Like I wish the series could get more into details other than taking over the Mushroom Kingdom. The whole story is just too simple and on point.

At least in the Zelda series, the story is very deep and epic.

The one thing that probably bugs me about the Mario series is that it has pretty much been in almost every area of gaming to the point where I get tired of seeing it. Almost every sport, arts, puzzles, spin-offs, etc. I just feel that the series is overexposed and feels that it gets shoved down our throats too much.

Well, Super Princess Peach had Bowser kidnap the Mario Bros. while Peach saved them, so that was a good twist.
There needs to be more.

I DEMAND there be a Super Wario Bros.

I'd like to see Bowser have his own game. Also a Meta Knight or Star Wolf game would be neat too.

While Galaxy did add a twist to the story, I will agree that the Mario story line has gotten stale.

Hey,wait,Bowser actually has his own game.Kinda.
Paper Mario : The Thousand Years Door tells the story of a legendary door that leads to a place where all evil dwells, and it is dominated by the shadow queen. One day, three of Shadow Queen's servants go on a quest to trick someone into opening the Thousand Year Door and thus, releasing the evil spirit. At the same time,Peach,Mario and Luigi travel to a certain city-island during their vacations, and there,Peach finds the key that can open the door.
However, the story unfolds, and Mario once again departs on a journey to save the entire world. This game is so akward,You can control Mario,Peach AND Bowser during some scenes.
Not only that,Mario also travels to the moon in order to put an end to the moon emperor, who also wants to put his hands on the Key.One of the shadow queen's servants end up teaming up with Mario, and this game has a truly unexpected final boss.

Mario e Luigi Bowser's Inside Story starts with the toads being afflicted by a mysterious illness that turns them big and round, denominated the Blorbs.Peach and the other senators try to find a way to cure the toad's illness, but they are suddenly attacked by Bowser. At first,Mario defeats him,but then,in the near future,Bowser is tricked by a mysterious entity into eating a mysterious mushroom, which gives Bowser the power to swallow things whole. He then enters Peach's Castle, and starts swallowing the entire castle,Mario and Co.,and some of the senators. This mysterious figure is none other than FAWFUL,and he has fury!He wants to un-bury the Dark Star, and use it's power to unleash destruction on the mushroom kingdom, and to turn himself into it's king! The game has quite some twists,First, you have to control Bowser for a good section of the game, then, there is the final epic battle where you must battle the Dark Star, then Fawful, and finally, the extremely exciting Bowser vs Dark Bowser battle!Yes...the Final Battle is truly epic.

And there are some interesting games too.
Mario Hoops 3-on-3 is a Basketball game involving Mario and Final Fantasy Characters.
Mario Sports Mix is the Wii version of this game, except you can also play with Slime(from Dragon Quest),and it has 4 different sports instead of only basketball.
And there is also Fortune Street, which is a game in which whoever get's rich first, wins. But there is a twist...first,it's a mix between Mario and Dragon Quest characters.Second, you can only plau with your mii,all those characters aren't playable.Third,it has online gameplay, but the game takes FOREVER to end.Like, let's just say...a game with the standard configurations should take around 2-5 hours.

Hope i have helped with my Nintendo Knowledge.

I would like a game where you play as Wario and Waluigi and cause an endless amount of mischief and chaos throughout the mushroom kingdom. You would earn score multipliers if you were able to maintain your mischief for extended periods of time. Also, you would fight the Mario Bros. at various times throughout the game as they try to put an end to your mischievous ways.

Well...you always have Katamari Damacy.
And No More Heroes is good for relieving stress too.Although the bosses require huge amounts of dodging.By the way,i HATE Bad Girl!(Rank 2 Boss.)
OH wait,i almost forgot about this one.Mad World is kind of fun because you don't only have to kill your enemies...you have to kill them with style, making them feel the biggest amount of pain possible before dying.

Lol, well, you may know by know there MIGHT be a Legend of Zelda: Valley of the Flood for Wii U coming around sometime this/next year. Also, I've updated my avatar so it has the Hylian laguage. It translate "HylianLink", I couldn't find any matching fonts with numbers, so I just translated the laguage into "HylianLink99", except the Hylian laguage doesn't HAVE numbers unless you make your own.

Heres a Nintendo fact you guys should know:
Fortune street is a reboot of the original Fortune Street on the Playstation (yup.. its rival) known as Itadaki street special

Nintendo Talk Itadaki-street-special
Instead of mario characters, it was final fantasy and dragon quest characters

Nintendo decided to import it to the wii in their style...
Basically, this isn't a brand new game..

One thing that I do praise the Mario series for is the gameplay. In my opinion, if they stuck with the same gameplay for the 25-30 years of the series existance along with it current rare change in story, it would not be as big as it is today. Just an opinion

You can't get mad at Nintendo for shoving Mario down everything.
He is very popular and profitable for the company, not using him would be dumb.
Cause what Nintendo ultimately cares about money, they're a business.

My problem isn't the Mario franchise's overexposure, it's the lack of development toward new IPs that aren't completely awful.

'Nuff said.

Also, is it just me, or is Nintendo trying to market Pit as their next biggest IP? It would explain the neglections towards the other first party 3DS titles. (Luigi's Mansion 2, Paper Mario, etc.)

I completely agree on the lack of development on the new IPs. Nintendo dropped the ball many times in that part imo. They come close to making new ones, but then they usually like to throw "already established" series into the mix.

Here are some examples:

Star Fox Adventures - originally, Krystal was the main character. It was originally called Dinosaur Adventure or Dinosaur Land. Then, Nintendo turned it to Star Fox game. I think the could have recieved better reviews had it not have been turned to a Star Fox game. The main complaint I heard about this game is the involvements of the Star Fox franchise since it was out of place for the series. Thats where Nintendo dropped the ball. Krystal couldve been the main protagonist of a whole new IP that couldve followed up with sequels afterwards. I do seriously hope Nintendo brings back Krystal and let her have her own series, like it was originally planned.

Kirby's Epic Yarn - originally, Prince Fluff was the main protagonist. That was until they threw in the Kirby series. Now, unlike Star Fox Adventures, this game was well recieved besides the fact that the game is easy. But yet again, Nintendo dropped the ball again with the opportunity of creating a new IP.

Yoshi Puzzle game ( dont remember the actual name) & Pokemon Puzzle League - originally, the Yoshi game was a remake or sequel to Panel de Pon while Pokemon version's gameplay was based off of it. For those not familiar with Panel de Pon, it is the game that stars Lip who is a popular candidate for SSB4. Nintendo failed again here with creating a potential IP that couldve expanded.

Legend of Zelda Wind Waker - originally, Tetra was the main protagonist of the game, but they threw in the Zelda series. Wouldve been great for Nintendo to have a series of games that starred a pirate. Though this game was a success, again our friends in Japan failed to create a new IP

Mario Sunshine & Luigi Mansion - though its not confirmed if these 2 games had different protagonist, unless im yet to find a source, these games also missed their opportunity to become new IPs. Prof. E Gadd couldve been the main character of one or both games. We couldve had a goofy scientist as a new hero for Nintendo. Despite the 2 games being successful with the Mario series possibly shoved into it, they missed their chance again eith a new IP.

In conclusion, Nintendo had new IPs from the start, but choose to shove already established franchises in them instead. I can understand Nintendo fearing for the original plans to not be well recieved, but that didnt stop Pokemon, Pikmin, or Animal Crossing. I was going to provide more examples, but I typed all this by my phone which is a touchscreen. Lol. Would be great if all these characters that had their spotlight taken from them have a 2nd chance.

Yeah I know, SmashKing, but not only that, there was a game that followed Wind Waker, HourGlass Phantom, I think, was it? Also there was a game simalar to HP, but had the Link & Zelda co-cop, umm... Spirit Tracks, that's right.

I personally hope Krystal is phased out. Had RARE gone though with making Dinosaur Planet instead of making it a StarFox title, maybe I wouldn't hate Krystal like I do.

No comment on this one.

Promoting a girly fairy character in a puzzle game equals big no-no in America in that time. Had they went with the original Panel de Pon, they would've failed miserably in sales. Turning it into Yoshi or Pokemon? Better marketing move.
Remember, at that time, they had to cater to the American crowd that liked tough, badass things. Hell, even Kirby was made hardcore in commercials. Go look at the old Dream Land and Dream Land 2 commercials, especially the Dream Land 2 one. How could a flower fairy for a puzzle game be badass?

Legend of Zelda Wind Waker - originally, Tetra was the main protagonist of the game, but they threw in the Zelda series. Wouldve been great for Nintendo to have a series of games that starred a pirate. Though this game was a success, again our friends in Japan failed to create a new IP
