Discuss whether or not you think Robin should be added to Super Smash Bros. Crusade.

I have a question for the coders: would it be possible to have his/her spells function like Smash 4? It seems like that item mechanic would be hard to code.
I'd like to see him/her in as the Awakening ref. One thing to fix, make the Bronze sword longer plz. Smash 4 fucked up when it was made so damn small.

Why not? He could be a good addition, altought I support more to Isaac (Golden Sun). However, I think that a fight between Robin Magician and Isaac could be epic.
However, if he/she joins to the game, I think his Final Smash must be changed.
This due to I support Chrom too...

Robin is ok. I was really excited for him when he got in, but I could never get the hang of him. Wish he had more magic and less reliant on his sword...
Regarding the final smash, the only other real option (aside from generic critical hit) is spoiler related...

If Robin's in, be a dick to Chrom and take him out of the final smash and have Lucina instead

NOT ACCEPTED
Why Lucina should replace Chrom in Robin's Final Smash?

Yeah. Lucina at least has potential to be decloned, while Chrom is destined to be a carbon copy of Ike, amirite.

I support the tipping of scales!
sounds like he would be a little harder to program with sm4sh' style though so i wouldn't mind if the mechanic is removed in favor of some added cool down/end lag when performing the last of the spells (i.e. after the 6th Arcfire he takes a little longer to act out of).
Removing it altogether is also an option since he isn't top tier with his speed anyway.

Well we could always give him his Levin Sword. That'll spice things up

If Robin makes it to Super Smash Bros. Crusade, I think that Chrom should join in alongside him. Hw can attack after Robin finishes. For the Downward Special Chrom can charge up his sword the same way Ike does and after Robin's Noferatu finishes Chrom strikes.

That is a terrible idea. And you basically proved that Chrom would just be an Ike clone.

Well, some Final Smashes are spoilers. Two characters I created movesets for have to rely on spoiler-based Final Smashes (one of them isn't in the suggestions list)
Anyways, I agree with Robin. One of the few slow characters I love using. I don't think the moveset would have to be altered much.
As a non-Fire Emblem person, does Robin have the worse mobility in Awakening? If so, then that is a clever nod to him/her

As a unit in Awakening, Robin has the most vitality of all the units. He/She can literally do anything and everything. I guess having low mobility was Sakurai's way of trying to balance him/her, but I still found it to be absolutely stupid. At least give him/her a balance walk/run speed.

At least Robin's air speed is average (Almost as fast at his/her Dash ) What about the Tactician Class for Robin, as that is what he/she is in Smash?

The Tactician class wasn't super broken alone, but it had no weaknesses whatsoever. Other classes were better, tho. Although if Robin had a boon of Mag then the class would be kinda broken because of igniz, which isn't in Robin's moveset for some fucking reason. Corrin at least got Dragon Fang even though it was separated into different moves, which makes sense. Now that I think of it, Sm4sh Robin makes me angry because of those inconsistencies. Corrin's stats made sense, except for the dumb nerf on his/her run speed, but the fact that Robin's so damn slow in terms of movement makes no sense since in Awakening he/she can do literally anything. If he/she does get in Crusade, I hope to god those stats don't return. If anything he/she should be have somewhat balanced stats in terms of movement, and please make the bronze sword not a fucking novelty sword like in Sm4sh.
Well, Crusade is doing a nice job keeping characters in line with their series while still staying balanced (Ganondorf for example, along with Knuckles and Shadow soon), so we could see Robin getting some buffs in mobility and bronze sword buffs. As long as I can still have my Arcthunder-Levin Up Smash combo, I'll be happy (For some reason, Arcthunder works better for me than Thoron)
