| Maybe we should wait for ARMS to launch and verify that it's good. |

Plenty of people have already gotten hands-on with ARMS, and we've seen extensive gameplay footage. Plus, it's a first-party Nintendo game. It's safe to assume there'll be a high degree of polish and quality. Besides, whether the game is good or not doesn't change the fact that Ribbon Girl is visually distinctive and has good potential for Smash. Even if her game is poorly received, Ribbon Girl would still be a solid addition to the Crusade roster. |

| I have a few things to add on. The charge up for arms characters activates after a shield, dodge, jump, and mid-air dodge. So while I'm not opposed to it being a special, it should also be added to those. Another thing to note is that with the multitude of characters ingame (10), we really need to think about whether or not Spring Man or Ribbon Girl should be added instead of the others. Just because they are on the cover of the game doesn't mean they deserve the spot anymore than Master Mummy or Twintelle |

Actually, yes it does. In lieu of a 'main character', the next best thing is the poster child, or whoever's on the cover and appears the most in the marketing. In this case, that's undeniably Spring Man and Ribbon Girl. They're the most recognizable ARMS characters, and the ones with the strongest association with ARMS. When you also take into account that each ARM can be used by any character, the only things left to impact whether a character should get in are visual design, individual gimmicks, and relevance to the series. Ribbon Girl is ARMS poster girl, and has just as interesting of a personal gimmick as most of the other ARMS characters. |

| I know what a poster child is. But I would sooner have a main character or a fan-favorite than I would a money generator. I'm not saying I hate Ribbon Girl or poster kids, but at the very least have a poll on who should join from arms and pick from the top 3 of that instead of taking somebody who might not even be that important in-game |

| After some thought, my initial cringing turned into moderate approval. Although I wouldn't have thought of this, I can see why this character would be a smart addition. It would increase the buzz for this otherwise ignored game. A playable ARMS character in a smash fangame sounds quite interesting and fits the unique vibe Crusade has. I'll take it a step further, if an Inkling was added alongside Ribbon Girl that would increase the buzz just that much higher. Both characters relatively underexposed at the moment getting some shine would be a smart move if marketing is any type of priority for Team Crusade |

There's no reason to do that. Everyone has their fan-favorite. Some people like one character, others like others. A poll would just divide supporters into "I support, but only if it's min-min" and "I support but only if it is NOT Ribbon Girl". Spring Man and Ribbon Girl are poster kids, they are the faces that would get in. That's it. |

| Very good presentation for this character. I think Spring-Man was intentionally made to be the well-rounded, balanced character for a reason. That ofcource being to give the fans a recognizable character (due to advertisements prior to release) that they can simply pick up and play. This is similar to how Ryu would be thw most well-rounded, balanced fighter and Mario as well in Smash. Characters in the position of being the most balanced and simple to pick up tend to be the poster boy of the game. This one of the reasons I believe that Spring Man should be the choice to go with. |

On the topic of a poll though, it would be interesting to see everyone's point of view but that would be more of a fun thing than a basis for the gaming rep |

| I mean, are we really going to debate if "poster boy" characters should make the cut when Crusade's schtick is picking obscure character's that still fit the aesthetic...? |

Probably because they still pick the MAIN character first. Of course there is no MAIN character in ARMS really, just the poster boy
