Well, my friends, after a somewhat long tiem of absence, I'm back with a new Character Idea.
This time, it's turn of the Evil Minish Lord Of The Darkness: Vaati!
Appearences:
-The Legend Of Zelda: The Minish Cap (GBA; 2004)
Data:
- Spoiler:
In Four Swords, Vaati is initially sealed in the "Four Sword" weapon, but escapes and captures Princess Zelda, only to be returned to the sword by Link, who is split into four by the sword. In the sequel, Four Swords Adventures, he escapes with Princess Zelda yet again with the help of Ganon, forcing Link to be split up and defeat him. Before the events of The Minish Cap, Vaati was a Picori that became corrupted by the evil in the hearts of mankind. He used the Wishing Cap created by his master, Ezlo, to transform himself into a Hylian sorcerer, and in the game he begins seeking out the power of the Light Force. He eventually becomes his black orb form in this game.
Why I Support Him?
Well, it's obvious that The Legend Of Zelda needs more reps in Crusade, aside Link/Toon Link, Ganondorf, and Tingle; aside, I still think adding some villains could be a nice idea. He's maybe the 2nd most iconical villain in the series after Ganondorf, and was very requested for SSB4; so, I think he could entry to this game. It could be epic seeing a battle between him and Ganondorf...!
Moveset:
-Normal Attacks:
-Neutral: Vaati performs a palm thrust charged with Dark Energy, followed by an albow strike, followed by a reverse kick.
-Side: Vaati swings his palm forward, putting a curse on the opponent (Curse=It doesn't do instantly damage; instead, it puts a curse on the opponent and it does a limited damage amount, depending of the attack. It's a very interesting property.)
-Up: He puts his hand up and releases a wind blast. Low Knockback and this attack will not put the curse effect, it will simply do normal damage. If the opponent is not next to the initial blow, it will don't do damage and it will blow opponents up, very similiar to Mr. Game & Watch's Up aerial.
-Down: Vaati puts a hand on the ground in his front and a dark shockwave will comes. Quickly and with vertical knockback.
-Dash Attack: Creates a wind barrier around himself and tackles the enemy sends them upwards
-Aerial Attacks:
-Neutral Aerial: Makes a dark cyclone around him. A multihit move that can push opponents to the attack. Good for comboing.
-Front Aerial: Put his hands in front of him with a small whirlwind in hit. Another multihit with a push effect, but the push is to trap opponents in the attack.
-Up Aerial: Like his Up Attack, but instead of blowing opponents up, it will push his opponents down. If the opponent is already near the tip of his hands when the attacks comes up, it will be a meteor attack with moredate knockback. Hard to connect the sweetspot.
-Back Aerial: Puts his hand behind him and will release a cursed blast with a shock effect. The only aerial to use his curse system. Slow start up. It's his strongest aerial in terms of knockback.
-Down Aerial: A stall-then-fall. Vaati stops in air with a cross like pose and just falls down very very quicly because of wind pushing him. It will send opponents up, and it cannot meteor KO like Toon Link's down aerial. Althought it's use wind, it will not push or blow opponets, at least until touching the ground, then it will make a small blow on opponents to the side.
-Grabs & Throws:
-Pummel: Similar to Ganondorf's Flame Choke, but used multiple times depending on how much is pressed the Attack Button
-Forward Throw: Vaati thrusts his other arm forward, blowing the opponent away, trapping him/her in a tornado
-Up Throw: Vaati points upwards, launching the opponent into the air
-Back Throw: Vaati swings his arm, hurling the opponent away
-Down Throw: Vaati points downward, smashing the opponent into the ground
-Smash Attacks:
-Side Smash: Vaati moves forwards while spinnig in wind. It traps the opponent like a Hyrule Castle's cyclone. Has great range, and a moredate, but random knockback. The opponent could be launched in various angles, but not down; still can be a semispike in rare occasions.
-Up Smash: Vaati puts one of his hands above him, not directly above, but slight on his front. While Charging, instead of making the attack stronger, it simply pushed opponents into the hand, and then it explodes in wind power, sending opponents in the direction that the hand is pointing.
-Down Smash: Vaati crosses his arms in a "X" appointing his fingers in the ground; then, he released release a powerfull magic blast in the ground on both sides at the same time. Sends opponents in the opposite direction the attack hits.
-Special Attacks:
-Neutral Special: Dark Gaia: Vaati shoots a dark sphere that turns enemies into stone. It does a small amount of damage and can be broken out of by smashing buttons, but the more damage you have the harder it is to get out.
-Side Special: Flame Burst: Vaati unleashes a wave of fire, in front of him.
-Up Special: Dark Teleport: Vaati sprouts four bat-like wings and creates a tornado around himself, lifting him up. The tornado blasts away anyone it hits, and has a 50% chance of stunning him/her.
-Down Special: Batty: Vaati summons a small winged eye monster that floats around Vaati. It attacks opponents with Beams when they get in range. The Beams have the same firing rate, knock back, and damage as Falco's Blaster. The monster(s) stay around him, but can be attacked and destroyed by eneimes. There can be up to three at a time.
-Final Smash: Vaati's Curse: Vaati transforms into his true form; the four-winged, one-eyed ball of darkness. In this form, Vaati can move freely through the air. By pressing A, Vaati can form a large clawed arm and thrust it forward; by pressing B, Vaati can shoot balls of purple lightning from his eye. Vaati is unvulnerable so long as this form is active. This Final Smash lasts for 20 seconds.
-Appearence To The Stage: Vaati appears using the "wavy teleport" from the Minish Cap.
-Taunt: Vaati floats in the air slightly and chuckles creepily.
-Victory Pose: Vaati laughes and transforms into Vaati's Wrath, before flying away.
What do you think? Comment, please.
