| Here is a good example how this character could work and yeah I know its ripped of from an other page but I think it could be an interesting retro character. But in my opinion he should have two different movesets, one on foot and one on the bike. Through Special Down he could mount and left his bike. But its just an idea and a suggestion. |

| If we ever do get this guy, I'd like to see him on his bike. We already have Mach Rider on foot. I'll need further convincing as to why he's a good choice, though. Most I've heard about this little dude is all bark and no bite. |

| Ah, you're right, this came from somebody's deviantart. I think it was just to illustrate what the character COULD be like, but I'm pretty sure we wouldn't just rip that art off. Plus the OP acknowledged that it was borrowed in the beginning of his post. |

| Spoon usually mentioned who his stolen movesets came from too.
Anyways Alucard please put a little more work into support threads. More info on the series background, ideas for the rest of the moveset definitely help, reasons the character deserves a slot in Crusade, what they bring to the table. Ripping some random person's moveset which on it's own does not fulfill all of these areas is not enough, and also shows no effort on your own part other than finding the moveset and copy-pasting. That type of effort doesnt inspire the rest of the community to support the character. |

| Aw man I was hoping to make this thread after I finally finished up Dillon's.
I'm a big advocate of Excitebiker, I'll go in more detail after I finish Dillon but I feel that this franchise is worthy of being a part of the Smash Brothers franchise (I mean even if this is a fangame that aspect is kinda important to me so yea). |

| I remember back in Proboard days, myself and AEM made his moveset. I will look for it later to share with you guys. I would love to see Excitebiker in Crusade. He was my first sprited character for Crusade before he became a stage hazard. |

This is actually a good point. Alucard just copy+pasted the image and suggested a single move (down special swap). I don't think that he should ever get off his bike - that kind of ruins the point of Excitebike. Then again, Captain Falcon and Mach Rider exist... then again, those 2 have a backstory outside of 'he's a bike racer'. - AEM wrote:

If you have a good moveset lined up, I would be in favor of you being the OP for an Excitebiker topic. Excitebike is worthy of something in Smash, but we already have a stage... I'd need to see something unique he could bring before I would support adding him. I do have a general question, though... I know most of these 'unofficial characters' will not make it into the game. Is there ever going to be any indication of those that do? The old 'roster' was ~80 characters, and the current version has 58 (+ Pichu, Weegee, ZSS, and Evil Ryu), while there are still a lot of official Smash characters missing (Zelda, Diddy, Ike, Pit, Dedede, new SSB4 reps like Bowser Jr, Rosalina, Robin, Shulk, Villager). Is the roster officially being expanded? If not, is there a real point to this section? Bringing this up since it can greatly influence who people support. If there are only 5 slots for 'unofficials' available, would you support characters like Jak, Bandana Dee, and NiGHTS? What does it even mean to 'support', anyways? Are the most popular characters going to be chosen? |

| @Roy, that is a good question and one that hasn't been answered up until this point. The roster doesn't have a set number. It is usually changed left and right and the new characters you been seeing on the roster are characters the team are certain they want to keep in the long-run. Changes are done on a regular based on many factors like uniqueness, representation, fan service, etc. just to name a few. So yes, these unofficial topics are likely to effect who will and will not be on the roster. It is not a guarantee that it will, but it plays a role. |

Damnit.... *Looks at Weegee, Goku, and Snivy* (Yes, I know we've been over this before... still...) But ok, thanks SK. Doesn't help too much, but hopefully people will give their ideas more thought and people will think a bit more before giving support to an unfinished concept - even if the character itself is a good choice. |

| Here is my old moveset. I believe AEM's ideas are here as well, not sure. - Spoiler:
Move Set
Taunt: PEACE! - Excitebiker throws out the classic Peace sign he always does after completing a race.
A Attack: Jab - Excitebiker leans forward on his Bike and throws a punch.
AA Attack: 2nd Jab - he throws a 2nd jab.
AAA: Bike Tackle - he then rushes forward a bit for the finishing blow.
Side Tilt: Tackle/Wheelie - Excitebiker rushes forward a small bit, however he does a wheelie while doing this.
Up Tilt: Uppercut - Excitebiker does a short uppercut, of course he doesn't get off of his bike in the move.
Down Tilt: Low Biker Kick - Excitebiker shifts his bike sideways, then he does a low kick.
Dash Attack; Break- Excitebiker does a Half Doughnut and hits his breaks.
Neutral B: "Floor It!" - Excitebiker press on the gas pedal, his Bike is chargin' and chargin' his Bike beginning to turn into Red, it's burnin' baby and if you charge to much it EXPLODES! The Explosion damages Excitebiker and surrounding players. This Move charges the Side Special.
Side B: "Let 'Er Rip!" - The Excitebiker then Rushes forward moving twice as fast as Mach Rider, and has the ability to jump. He may also turn around.
Up B: Ramp - Excitebiker takes out the Orb from Excitebike World Rally then, a ramp appears under Excitebiker, he rides off it while doing a 360 Backflip. What a cool guy.
Down B: " Gotta Cool Her Down" - Excitebiker kneels down and cools down the Bike, this does not destory charge for the Neutral Special, but it does remove the heat to prevent the bike from exploding. <NOTE> If this move is chosen, the bike will cooldown opposite of how the Wario Waft works, basically. It will cool down during the match.
Side Smash: Checkered Flag - Excitebiker takes out a Checkered Flag, and swings forward.
Up Smash: Spinning Wheel - Excitebiker wheelies in place, and does a short hop, the front Wheel is spinning, upon touching it, the Wheel will combo opponents, and then release them with moderate knockback.
Down Smash: Doughnut - Excitebiker does 2 doughnuts in place.
Neutral Aerial: Frontflip 360 - Excitebiker does a Frontflip 360
Forward Aerial: Handlebar Kick - Excitebiker sits on the handle bars, kicking with his feet forward
Up Aerial: Kiss of Death - Excitebiker does the "Kiss of Death".
Backward Aerial: Superman - Excitebiker does the "Superman".
Downward Aerial: Upside Down Uppercut - Excitebiker flips his bike upside down, and punches above himself. (Which is actually torwards the ground at this moment) This is his Spike/Meteor Smash.
Grab: Grab On The Side - Excitebiker places his foot on the ground, and has the bike to his side. He then edges to grab the foe.
Pummel: Grab Punch - Excitebiker punches you in the face.
Forward Throw: Bike Ram - Excitebiker Rams into the Foe.
Upward Throw: Up Throw - Excitebiker tosses the foe upward.
Backward Throw: Mule Kick - Excitebiker backkicks them behind him.
Downward Throw: Roadkill - Excitebiker throws the opponent downward, he then drives on their face.
Edge Attack: Bike Thrust - While holding on to the ledge with one hand and still sitting on the bike, with one arm he pulls himself up and tackles with the bike.
FINAL SMASH: FINAL LAP! The Final Lap ramp appears to the right of the stage, Excitebiker drives to it and grabs frist place! Then 8 more Excitebikers are driving behind to get finish the race! Once they're all done, Excitebiker drives back with a Trophy in hand! He then returns to where he started, and then the match continues.
*KABOOM* Uh-oh! Excitebiker's bike Exploded!
<NOTE> Upon explosion, Excitebiker will work very similar to Olimar without Pikmin, he will be unable to do certain attacks.
Taunt: Same as Bike
A, AA Attack: Punch, Punch. (no bike tackle)
Side Tilt: Excitebiker does something similar to Sonic's Side Smash
Up Tilt: Same as Bike
Down Tilt: Same as Bike
EVERY SMASH: Excitebiker will take out the Flag and twirl it all around him, he will then Swing the Flag in the same direction as were the Smash button was pressed
Neutral Aerial: Excitebiker does something similar to Wolf's Neutral Aerial
Grab: Excitebiker edges to grab a foe
Pummel: Same as Bike
Forward Throw: Excitebiker tosses Foe forward
Upward Throw: Same as Bike
Backward Throw: Same as Bike
Downward Throw: Excitebiker drops his foe, he then jumps onto of them.
All Special Buttons: After 10 Seconds of being Bikeless, pressing the Special Button will have the bike return to Excitebiker. Activating the Final Smash will have it Automatically return to you.
Also, here is Excitebiker's sprite thread on Proboards back when he was in the old old roster. http://ssbcforum.proboards.com/thread/738/excitebiker-sprites-moveset |

| I like the idea with the bike that explodes, thats why I meant the suggestion with the mountable bike move, but I agree with these moveset, its an better way to use the character both on foot and on the bike. He have my support.

That shouldn't be hard. The course and the bikers should be based on the classic retro look from the original game. The Excite Biker fighter himself would have a more modern look. That's how I picture it, anyway. |

When Excitebiker joines the battle, Alfonzo joins the race! Alfonzo: Leave it to me! But seriously, it's the same reasoning how DK works on 75m. |

| Just leave it as Excitebike Course or Excitebike Rally.
I feel that Excitebiker having the gimmick of fighting on the bike is more fitting for him than it would ever be for Mach Rider. Reason being that a dirt bike is smaller and lighter and you can actually do tricks like flipping, pop-a-wheelie, etc. whereas Mach Rider's bike is this tank-like bike that realistically can't do such things.
