King Dedede [Kirby] Discussion

Discuss whether or not you think King Dedede should be added to Super Smash Bros. Crusade.

If he does get in, instead of the Inhale, could it be replaced with the projectile he has in Kirby: Triple Deluxe?

He could be a nice addition to the game, especially because Kirby Super Str Series needs a villain rep.

About his Moveset, there's no trouble. However, about Final Smash, I'm suggesting this change:

-Final Smash: Masked Dedede. King Dedede puts a mask and unleashes his gigantic mechanical hammer. About abilities, he can spin like a tornado (with electric properties), shoot missiles, use a flamethrower, etc.

Eh, kinda generic transformation

I kinda like the thought of getting into the Dedede robot thing from Return to Dreamland, and Mass Attack. (He's in the robot in Mass Attack so him using the robot is canon)

What Crusade really needs is the King of Perfect. So yeah, he needs to return.

Make King Dedede use his Brawl Final Smash, but if the Final Smash in Smash 4 is better, its nice too.

His Brawl moveset is better, but I still think that Dedede could gain an even better Final Smash.
Like, for example, Masked Dedede.

I dunno... Masked Dedede sounds kinda generic but it might work very easily since it's just adding a mask and changing the hammer on his sprite work.
Functionality wise, sm4sh's Final Smash is also the better one of the three...
If the brawl one returns it would be hilarious, but it should have some way to better "aim" the tiny little ones into more reliable gimping people. Those with better airborne mobility can just avoid most of the damage by gaining height.

- The Sm4sh Side B with the Gordos is also better, but i feel it's just so easy to intercept.
This is what i would like Crusade's dedede to have:
- Sm4sh's down tilt, Down air and down throw are better.
- Brawl's back Air is better.
- Project M's Side tilt speed traded off for a single hit is better.

Of course Dedede should be in! But make his final smash Masked Dedede with a cool electric hammer.

is this even up for debate? count me in.

masked dedede would be a cool concept but transformation final smashes are a veritable waste of resources, make it just a normal attack with a unique function

or bring back the big gay dance

I refuse to have D3 with a final smash other than Masked Dedede.
But Big Gay Dance > SSB4 Final Smash

That's cute, but it really doesn't depend on you. If Dev team don't want to do transformations, then masked dedede isn't even up for consideration.

I honestly like the Dance.
The problem is that it's kinda wacky in execution, and considering all the Final Smash does is slide a bunch of goons that can still get hit and killed didn't really help.
Bring in some aerial attacks, make the army invincible and ACTUALLY HURT, and I'll be fine with the Dancing.
Because we can dance if we want to.

What about his giant robot? He could summon him as a FS. WAIT NOT THE PITCHFORKS PLEA- *Braystar was found dead with flaming pitchforks from angry mobs stuck in his body. More at 5*

OK so I thought it through, it's a four stage FS

1. Dedede becomes Masked Dedede
2. HR-D3 comes in and shoots lasers and drills your face off
3. A barrage of Waddle Dees, Waddle Doos and Gordos come around and do whatever they do
4. Finally Dedede sucks in close opponents and blows them up with a bomb that comes out of his hammer
