| Another Character Idea.
This time, it's for the invincible Superhero who can create weapons with the union of the masses: Wonder-Red!
Appearences: -The Wonderful 101 (Wii U; 2013
-Data: The young leader of the Wonder Ones. Having just joined the Wonderful Ones after finishing a year of comprehensive training, Earth Defense War III is his first experience in combat. Though technically still a rookie, he is extremely gifted, achieving a record score in both the written and field sections of the CENTINEL tactical examinations. However, his inexperience has led Blue and Green to doubt his abilities as a leader on more than one occasion. Brimming with passion for justice, he takes a firm stance against those who threaten peace, but his by-the-books attitude and serious personality can occasionally rub people the wrong way. Sometimes Red’s seriousness crosses the realm of reason, and those around him find getting through to him almost impossible. The opposite is rarer, though, as Red has an incredible memory, and never forgets something after being told, as demonstrated by him recalling the other Wonderful Ones' titles so well that Blue jokes that he must be hiding a teleprompter somewhere.
-Why I support him? The Wonderful 101 is considered as one of the best games for Wii U, due to its originality. This characters is so charismatic and very famous that he even could be part of SSB4 (altought, honestly, Bayonetta (who was also created by Platinum Games) had more potential...). So, now, due to the charisma of this hero, I think he could be a good playable character.
This could be his complete moveset: Normal Attacks -Neutral (Attack Button x1): Punch -Neutral (Attack Button x2): Double Punch -Neutral (Attack Button x3): Punch with the Unite Hand -Side: Unite Claws -Up: Uppercut with Unite Hand -Down: Ground slap using the Unite Hand
-Dash Attack: Wonder-Red uses the Unite Spring
Aerial Attacks: -Neutral: Flying Kick -Up: Flying uppercut using Unite Hand -Front: Wonder-Red uses the Unite Glider, and moves forward in the air while attacking. -Back: He swings back the Unite Drill -Down: He uses the Unite Tombstone against his enemy. It can function as a Meteor Smash.
Grab Moves: (for grabbing, he uses the Unite Whip) -Pummel: Punches the enemy -Front: He swings the Unite Sword -Up: He tosses his enemy up, and he spins him/her before throwing -Back: He swings down the enemy, and gives him a punch using the Unite Hand -Down: He uses a piledriver technique, and later, he crashes the Unite Hand in the ground against his enemy
Smash Attacks: -Side: He uses the Unite Ball, which crashes in the ground -Up: Wonder-Red uses the Unite Sword, and swings it making an arch against his enemy -Down: Wonder-Red swings the Unite Hammer
Special Attacks: -Neutral Special: Unite Punch: Wonder-Red joins several people for creating a big gauntlet. Later, he charges, and delivers a powerful fist against his enemy.
-Side Special: Unite Gun: Wonder-Red joins several people for creating a big gun. Later, he charges and shots a powerful beam against his enemy.
-Up Special: Unite Rocket: Wonder-Red joins several people for creating a big rocket. Later, he uses it for jump higher.
-Down Special: Unite Bomb: Wonder-Red joins several people for creating a big bomb. Later, he throws it against his enemy.
-Final Smash: Unite Big: Wonder-Red calls all the Wonderful Ones in order to create a giant version of himself. In this mode, like with Giga-Bowser, all the Wonder-Red's attacks are more powerful than never!
-Extra: Shield:Wonder-Red uses the Unite Guts for protect himself.
What do you think? Comment, please. |

| This is not a good moveset. The only part I see of a team here is that there's an animation for people making stuff in the specials. And the specials themselves are...you could do a LOT more with this. It's literally just...punch, shoot, bomb, jump. It's terribly unoriginal.
I think there's just tons more you could do with this. But you make it so that he just creates very generic things for his attacks.
I'd like to support, but I can't support this thread.
Also, your "why I support" is complete opinion and doesn't tell me why exactly >I< should support him.

| I feel a little unneeded, since Shaq already said most of what there is to say, but I'll go ahead and say that, if there's a Hideki Kamiya game that should be represented, it's between Devil May Cry (iconic, beloved hack n' slash), Viewtiful Joe (fast-paced, vibrant 2.5D brawler), or Okami (gorgeous, artistic, action-adventure). Any of those I'd support. In fact, I think I have supported them in the past.
Wonder Red? I won't say he doesn't have potential, but he's nowhere near as deserving as a lot of characters, including, arguably, the three I mentioned. Dante is the protagonist of the massively popular franchise that more or less made hack n' slashes a thing. Joe has an in-game moveset practically made for Smash, plus has a cult following and multiple games. Amaterasu has huge potential for a unique moveset, also has a cult following, and represents a bold, artistic, underrated ps2 gem. Wonder Red may have potential, and relevance (as if that even matters), but his game has all but been forgotten already (at least, that's how it looks to me), and Dante, Joe, and Amaterasu have more to work with.
I can certainly see why people would want him, and I'll admit part of my disdain for his potential inclusion comes from 1. my passionate desire to see you-know-who in Smash in any (playable) form and 2. my passionate love of the ps2 and three certain games by Kamiya. So, no support, but that's born more out of principle than a bad moveset. I mean, the moveset isn't good, and if I wanted Red, I probably still wouldn't support, but that's beside the point. |

Another thing you must consider for making a moveset is also basing in the esence from their original games, no matter the originality... If you played The Wonderful 101, maybe you'll remember that he can join several people for create the weapons of the main héroes. So, there's his main escence: summoning several people for create his weapons... |

| Yeah, but the thing is: You could have made that more unique as well. |
