| Alright. I may have posted terrible topics before, but here's the one to redeem myself. Master Hand is a disembodied white right hand glove that serves as the final boss for classic mode in the Smash Bros franchise. And no, before you say it, just cause he is a final boss does not mean he is too big for Crusade. Ripley has clearly been shown to be bigger than him in SSB Brawl and SSB4. Also, in order to make this work, he can't just fly anywhere. He would have multiple jumps like Kirby, but he would be limited. Anyway, on to the moveset. Standard/Standard Combo: Poke Side tilt: Slap (this would also be the side smash, just charged up and more powerful) Down Tilt: Slap the ground. (Same as down tilt/ it would just be charged up and more powerful) Up tilt: Wrist lift Up smash: Vertical Backhand (He backhands above him) Standard Special: Finger Bang (Master hand makes a handgun with his hand and fires rockets) Side special: Finger Walk (His index and middle finger star walking) Up Special: Burning Hand (Master hand deals flame damage as he flies upwards) Down Special: Corkscrew (MH flies up and comes back down, twisting like a drill) Final Smash: Master Core: Master Hand starts writhing until Master Core breaks out and becomes his "Giant Monster" form and becomes kinda like Master Hand's Giga Bowser. Master Core is controlable, but lasts for a short period of time before returning to ball stage and reforming into Master Hand Now, I know for a fact that that was better than some of my other posts. On a somewhat related note, I'm fixing one of my older posts and re-uploding it to not get as much hate |

| Sounds pretty weird to have a floating hand as a regular character.
Personally, I prefer Master Hand to be playable in a special mode where he keeps his final boss status (Like Galactus in Ultimate MVC3), because IMO I don't think he works as a standard character (even with the nerfs and such).
Edit: Good on you for knowing your mistakes and made a half-decent post, you have slightly redeemed yourself. |

| I have to say, you did do a better job with this thread. I can't really deny that you followed the rules: you gave us a character and their mini-bio and then gave us a feasible starting moveset. However, classic mode is coming back in the next version of Crusade. He's most likely going to be the end-boss. Smash-origin characters have been something I've pondered for quite a while. Most of what I've heard from others' requests and wishlists are Tabuu, The Prime Minister, and surprisingly enough generic primids; all from Brawl's SSE. However, I think it's been a long time since I've heard somebody seriously consider Master Hand. Interesting to say the least. Interesting, but awfully flawed. See, the thing that sets apart Master Hand and Ripley [sic] is that Ridley has been minimally altered to better-fit Crusade's cast and not made to be unstoppable. Smash Bros. already addresses how strong Master Hand is as well as his abilities, so it's not just a mere adjustment to justify his role as a fighter among others, but it's a blatant discontinuity. The same goes for Tabuu. If you want a character that could function close enough and still be reasonable, however, there's always Glover. Also, nice improvement over your last thread. Not sure how well Mp3 Toaster takes to your persistence, but improvement is always appreciated. |

| Woah, now this is improvement! More detailed moves and an actually deserving character (I'll explain later). Heck, I was gonna create a thread for this later but you beat me to it! Anyway, Hype brought up the problem of having Master hand as both a boss in the soon-to-be classic mode. And to that I say *ahem* "When Master hand joins the battle, Crazy hand is in charge of Classic mode! Crazy hand: Leave it to me!" (Sorry I'll see myself out after I finish writing this). I would also love to have Master Hand be an unlockable fighter, unlocked by beating Classic mode on Hard. Anyway, as I mentioned earlier I was originally going to make a thread about this, so I made an entire moveset for the guy! Note: Things like crouch and walk animations are in the bottom, so I recommend you check that out first - Spoiler:
Master Hand
Master hand is the main villain in the Smash Bros. series (Fun fact: He has even appeared in a Kirby game) and has been a staple boss character in every game to date. Crusade does not have a Smash bros. rep because...well...it IS a smash bros. game. But what cooler way to reward the player for beating Master hand with 10+ characters, than being able to PLAY as him?! I imagine he, like most villains, would be a heavy character, since he barely ever moves when you fight him. Plus, all of his moves should deal incredible damage, but have equally as slow end lag. Plus, no incredible jump ability, since he only floats above the ground at most.
<PROS and CONS>
Pro: He's the main villain of the series Pro: Most of his moves already exist as sprites in Crusade 0.8 Pro: He has not yet appeared in Crusade 0.9
Con: He's always been a boss, this would break the tradition Con: It would make no sense fighting Master hand as Master hand
<MOVESET>
Strandard attacks
AAA: Two slaps, dealing 4% damage each, followed by a punch that knocks the opponent away and deals 5% damage. Slow ending.
Side tilt: He stands on his middle finger and index finger, like in his walking animation, and kicks in front of him. One of his quicker moves, both in startup and end lag. Deals 6% damage and knocks the opponent far away, useful for spacing.
Down tilt: Master hand crawls forward while ducking by moving his ring, middle-and index fingers, dealing 4% damage to anyone close to him. Like Dedede's down tilt, it also propels him forward. Quick start, medium quick end.
Up tilt: Master hand holds his middle and index fingers like scissors and cuts above him. Barely any knockback and has pretty slow start-and end lag, but deals a dangerous 15% damage.
Dash attack: A slow startup, followed by an upwards slap while moving similar to Ike's dash attack. Has super armor, and deals 12% damage. Incredibly long end lag, to nerf the super armor.
SMASHES
Side smash: An incredibly powerful rocket punch that deals 28% damage and 35% when fully charged. As expected, it has some extreme end lag.
Up smash: Stolen right from SSB4, Master hand throws a fireball upwards and catches it on the way down. If anyone gets hit by the Fireball, they get trapped in it and get hurt rapidly. When Master hand grabs it in the end of the move, the foes trapped in the Fireball get launched, but not that far. The Fireball can deal 17% damage at most, and the grab deals 10%
Down smash: Master hand lays on the ground and starts flailing around aimlessly, like Crazy Hand's move in SSB4. Lasts for a long time, and deals 20-27% damage. Medium start-and end lag.
AERIALS
Nair: Here's an interesting one! Master hand backs into the background, like an airdodge, but with his hand formed into a fist. If anyone tries to attack him in this state, he punches them from the background and deals 15% damage. Has a big end lag, and even bigger if it fails.
Fair: Two pokes, angled diagonally downward. Quick in both start-and end lag, and deals 7% damage for each poke. Knocks the opponent away slightly with each poke, and rarely hits twice.
Bair: Master hand slaps behind him after a long startup and deals 13% damage with extreme knockback. Has no end lag at all, strangely enough.
Dair: After a startup with the same duration as the Bowser Bomb, Master Hand, or should I say "fist", slams into the ground and meteor smashes. Effective against foes who are hanging on ledges.
Uair: Like Sheik's Uair, Master hand spins around four times like a drill upwards and deals 20% damage at most. Has medium starting lag and long end lag.
SPECIALS
Neutral B: Master hand forms into a gun and shoots two explosive bullets after a slight startup. Each bullet deals 12% damage and has decent knockback. Has great knockback, and the bullets travel slightly faster than Falco's shots.
Side B: Another move from SSB4, Master hand waves his hand back and forth to create a gust of wind that has a chance of freezing. This attack lasts for about five seconds and cannot be cancelled by anyone, leaving Master Hand very vulnerable in the end of the move. However, this move is executed very quickly, making it good for edge guarding.
Down B: Probably the most iconic move in Master Hands arsenal, Master Hand shoots lasers out of his fingers downwards. While doing this, Master hand can also move slightly. Deals 10% damage with knockback for each time anyone touches any of the laser beams. Minimal end lag, medium starting lag.
Up B: The hand of justice turns into a drill that will pierce the heavens! Ahem, sorry...anyway, his hand forms into a drill which flies diagonally up, before going diagonally down and dealing massive damage to anyone it hits. Similar to the Dedede jump, but has a lot of end lag.
GRAB&THROWS
Grab: How would YOU grab something? Has medium end lag. Pummel: Master hand squeezes. Boom. Deals 3% damage Forward throw: Master hand throws the target forward and shoots them with explosive bullets. Deals 15% damage if both bullets hit. Backward throw: Master hand simply throws the target backwards, then blows some wind at them to keep them away. Has great knockback, but only deals 8% Up throw: Master hand throws the target into the air and shoots them with all of his laser fingers. Deals 10% damage and sends the target up in the air, ready to be combo'd. Down throw: After slamming down the target, Master hand forms into a drill and drills through said target. Minimal knockback and damage (5%) leaving them open for combos.
FINAL SMASH The Swarm breaks out of Master hand and turns into Master giant, who stays in the middle of the stage and attacks everyone. If damaged enough, Master Giant will turns into Master Beast, then Master Edges and finally Master Shadow, which is just a dark version of Master hand that can be controlled. If a certain time passes, the Swarm will reform into Master Hand. If all forms are defeated, however, the Swarm disappears and reveals the Master Core, helpless and just begging to be smashed off.
OTHER THINGS Taunt: Master hand does a thumbs up, followed by his laugher. Entrance: Like in the intro of Smash 64, Master hand holds up three fingers and counts down to one, before snapping and starting the match. Amother option is to have the same entrance as when he's a boss, he simply laughs and flies down to the stage. Option one could be his taunt, with added sound effects of course. Idle 1: Master hand waves his hand towards the camera. Idle 2: A "Get over here!" motion. Idle 3: The classic "Finger drum" thing most people do when they're waiting. Victory: Master hand laughs and high-fives Crazy hand Crouch: Master hand rests his palm on the ground.
EDIT: I wrote this in a haste, so there will be grammar problems. |

| @Mellon Solution: Master Hand got curious on how fighting as a regular character would be like, and he made a copy of himself to fight against in Classic Mode.
Just have to make the playable one and the regular boss one distinctly different. (i.e. use Amazing Mirror style for playable, custom sprites that actually match Smash for boss) |

| Besides, the final boss in Melee's adventure mode is Bowser (& Giga Bowser), and yet you can still use Bowser to fight him. |
