Rundas is a very popular character among Metroid fans and people went crazy after he died in Metroid Prime 3. For those of you who don't know who Rundas is, he is a species of aliens that have cryokinesis, or the ability to control ice. His people mainly used their cryokinesis for ice mining. Rundas used his abilities to become a bounty hunter. He can spawn ice out of thin air, even in hotter areas where that shouldn't be possible. He is shown to be very arrogant and prideful though, but he won't hesitate to work with others. I will he explaining why I think Rundas should be a candidate for Super Smash Bros. Crusade. First up: Him as a character!
Rundas: Rundas would be a swift, yet somewhat heavy character. Weighing about a little bit more than Samus, just not as floaty. This would make him a deadly character to fight against. He would taller than Samus, about a 4 inches taller. But he would have bad traction due to his icy nature to balance out his swiftness. All his moves would do extra percent damage if his opponents are frozen.

SPECIALS:
Up: Ice Surf
Description: Rundas would generate ice below his feet and move in 1 of 8 directions (like Fire Fox) going at a fairly fast speed and having great range, but this attack would do no damage.
Origin: In Metroid Prime 3, Rundas has shown this abilities many times before. Ice surfing is one of his iconic abilities.
Side: Ice Missles
Description: These Missles would be fast moving, but do little damage. At higher percentages they would freeze the opponent, allowing for Rundas to rack up some extra damage. They do even more damage to frozen opponents. Travel half way Final Destination.
Origin: While the Ice Missles were never actually used by Rundas in game, it is thought that he carried them and used them whenever the time calls for it. These missiles were actually used by Samus in Metroid Prime 3 and Metroid Fusion.
Down: Ice Armor
Description: This move would make Rundas take half damage, but would weigh him down a lot and would decrease his walking speed to almost as slow as Bowser's running speed. Lasts until he is KO'ed or grabbed (reference to how you remove it in the game he's from)
Origin: In the boss fight against Rundas, he used this move and became invincible until you ripped off the armor using Samus's Grapple Lasso (Beam).
Neutral: Icicle Burst
Description: Pressing the Special Button once will make Rundas unleash 3 small icicles which freeze opponents on contact, regardless of their damage. The higher your damage percentage, the harder it is to get thawed out. They come out 1 second after the other and don't travel very far.
Final Smash: Hyper Mode
Description: Rundas dons his PED Suit and small Phazon vines begin appearing around him (aesthetic thing only). In this mode his attacks do 1.3x their normal damage and knockback and Rundas cannot be damaged, but can still be knocked back.
Origin: In MP3, Rundas would occasionally enter this state. To get him out of it, you had to use your own Hyper Mode to damage him.

STANDARDS:
Neutral: AAA Combo
Rundas would freeze his hands into blades and do a 3 hit combo: Slice up, slice down, and stab. Low knockback on all hits.

Side Tilt: Rundas would put both of his bladed hands in front of him and move them like a scissor motion. High knockback and damage if both hits connect, but has medium ending lag.
Origin: None. Completely original.
Down Tilt: Rundas would stab the ground and a small patch of ice would appear. Freezes opponents on contact. Low knockback, damage, and ending lag. Great for starting combos.
Origin: None. Completely original.
Up Tilt: Rundas would point both hands up and form an ice spear by putting them together. Does medium damage and low knockback (high knockback if he hits with the tip). Has semi-medium ending lag.
Origin: None. Completely original.
Dash Attack: Rundas would slide across the stage, ice forming under him. Does multiple hits with medium knockback at the end of the move.
Origin: Same as his Up Special's origin.
Get Up Attack: Rundas swipes on both sides of him with his bladed hands.

Edge Attack: Rundas gets on the ledge and stabs whatever is in front of him with one his ice spear-turned arms.
Neutral Air: Rundas does a full circle slash with both of his hands. Low damage and knockback.
Origin: None. Completely original.
Foward Air: Rundas does a half circle movement with his bladed hand, doing low damage and medium knockback. Low landing lag.
Origin: None. Completely original.
Back Air: Rundas would stab whatever is his head level with his bladed hands. Does semi-medium knockback and low damage.
Origin: None. Completely original.
Down Air: Rundas shoots an icicle down below him. Meteors on start up. Low damage and medium knockback. Medium landing lag.
Origin: None. Completely original.
Up Air: Rundas crosses his arms into an "X" shape and then freezes both arms into ice blades and slashes anything above him or two his sides. Medium damage, and High knockback if the opponent is above Rundas. Otherwise it has low knockback.
Origin: None. Completely original.
GRABS/THROWS:
Rundas would start all of these by extending his arms to attempt to grab. Grab range is mediocre.
Up Throw: Rundas would throw his opponent into the air and shoot them with 3 icicles, the last icicle freezes at mid percentages.
Origin: None. Completely original.
Back Throw: Rundas shoots his opponent diagonally behind him with a pillar of ice. Does very high knockback and low damage, but has a high amount of ending lag.
Origin: None. Completely original.
Forward Throw: Rundas toses his opponent in front of him. Freezes and low percentages. Low damage and very low knockback.
Origin: None. Completely original.
Down Throw: Rundas pins his opponent on the ground and stabs them with his bladed hand. Does high damage, but very low knockback.
Origin: None. Completely original.
SMASH ATTACKS:
Side Smash: Rundas would send a line of spiked ice about 1/8 the length of Battlefield in front of him. Low damage and and medium knockback, but is a rapid hit move and freezes at the end if all hits connect.
Origin: In MP3, Rundas sent lines of ice at Space Pirates in order to assure he had a 1v1 fight with Samus.
Up Smash: Rundas would summon a pillar of ice behind him, as tall as Ridley. Does high knockback and low damage. Semi-high ending lag and start up
Origin: In MP3 Rundas as a boss is seen summoning pillars of ice around the battlefield.
Down Smash: Rundas surrounds himself in pillars of spiked ice about as tall as him. High knockback and medium damage, but high ending lag and start up.
Origin: In MP3, Rundas could summon ice pillars and toss them at Samus, I would expect him to have these ice pillars rise up around him.
Win Pose: Rundas would ice surf onto the scene, then mimic Samus's pose when she has her cannon pointed up and is standing.
Phew! That was a pain to write. But it was fun. I hope you guys take what I said into an idea. Seeing Rundas along with Samus and Ridley would be awesome. I do realize that there is a lot of original moves. This is because Rundas only made one appearance, so I didn't have much to go off of.
