| Honestly feel Chun-Li is perhaps the most ignored Crusade character. Never seen a main of her, never seen a tournament player use her, never seen..anything of her, really.
I would like to try her out and pick her up soon. Does anyone practice Chun-Li, what are some pros and cons? |

| Dang haven't been on in like 3 years
Anyways, I recently started maining chun-li, so here are some stuff I noticed
-jab has godly range, but I find it difficult to chain into other skills or tilts. Best follow up I've seen in down special, since the SA makes it hard to punish
-smash attacks are about as mediocre back in 0.8.4
-side special kills now at higher percentages
-down special, after some more experimenting, is a skill so ordinary I don't even know what to make of it. The super armor is nice, but the stun isn't as good as focus attack, the hitbox is strange, hard to follow up I feel
-recovery is actually amazing being able to do side-b and then follow up with up-b right after
-aerials are about the same iirc, down aerial is pretty fascinating, side air is decent for poking at people
But honestly, apart from using side-b at high percentages she seems to lack any kill moves. Anyone else having exceptional issues KO'ing before 100%? |

I found side tilt might be a more reliable kill move than side smash, which is slightly ironic given the nature of each respectively. hopefully 0.9.1 balances her moveset a bit But in all seriousness, I still don't understand what you can do with her down-B |

But in all seriousness, I still don't understand what you can do with her down-B Basically, stun your opponents long enough for you to keep connecting moves, but that doesn't always work since sometimes they get launched in the air or get out before you can even do anything. When it is fully charged it stuns for a longer time and try out a down smash (which also doesn't seem to connect at all when you fully charge it), but before you even charge it you'll probably get it with a smash attack or grab or you won't be able to hit, losing your time. |

| After some more experimentation, I think her best kill move would be the final hit of side-b, providing relatively consistent KOs against even heavy characters
Other applicable kill moves would be down and up smash, but up smash has a tiny hitbox, and down smash is just plain inconsistent
turns out her tilts aren't great combo tools, but rushing things down and throwing tilts left and right is the impression I get atm |

| Chun Li could use some buffs honestly.
Aerials *All her aerials could use like 1 or 2 frames of landing lag shaved off.
*Nair needs some sort of knockback growth or hitstun it's honestly a really awkward move to use.
*Back Air could use more KO power.
*Up Air could use better hitbox placement or larger hitboxes overall.
Specials *Up Special needs better hitboxes. Make it similar to ZSS's Boost Kick from Smash 4.
Tilts *Make her down tilt faster and have it send opponents at a better angle for followups or just for spacing.
*Make ftilt much faster but also much weaker. Allowing it to be a combo tool
Smashes *Give her fsmash more KO power. Not to make it a super strong smash but atleast enough to make it a reliable kill move at around 125%.
*Give Up smash better hitboxes.
Grabs * Increase her grab range a smidge. It's weird standing right next to someonean and still whiff a grab

| Talking about buffs for Chun-Li, is it normal that her EX moves does less damage and knockback?
I mean, except for EX-Hadoken, all of her EX doesn't really help her out. For example, EX-side-B put her in free fall and normal side-B doesn't. EX-up-B doesn't have the last hit of knockback when normal up-B does.
I only began SSBC (~~about a week ago~week ago~~) so maybe I am missing something about her moves. But I really like Chun-Li's play style though, especially her jab.
Speaking of her jab, is it avoidable? I haven't played with someone yet and it seem like CPU can't get out of it 98% of the time. If so, I'd like it to be nerfed somehow (I love it but it doesn't sound fair to me). |

| Her EX side B is much stronger than non-ex, at the cost of not being useable for recovery.
Her EX up B recovers far better at the cost of the high KB ending
Her jab is extremely easy to escape simply by holding the away direction
Taking special fall off her and Ryu's EX side B is actually not a bad idea though, as long as it can still only be used once per air time. |

Is it really? I tried it on training mode and sure does less damage and does not kill as early as normal side-B. Maybe it has some priority/armor with it? Either that or I can't find the strong hitbox with her EX side-B. But yeah, if there weren't any free fall, that would make a nice edge-garding tool! |

| Come to think of it, that's why it has helpless afterward. It would be broken to be able to jump out, hover in place with a strong high priority high range kill move, and come back. You could also do it in front of the ledge to stop almost any recovery. |

| I like using this heroine in this game, due to her faster moves.
However, my only question about her is this: from where are her voice clips in this game? I think her voice is from Yuko Miyamura... |

| I just wanted to share some combos i found with Chunli Ex-side b (4 hits)> cancel with Focus > U-tilt > Up b Ex-Up b > cancel with Focus > Fair Ex-Up b > cancel with Focus > Nair > Up b (https://gyazo.com/7e1040cfd72e4237b355108af7f86bcf) Up b > cancel with Focus > Nair > side b > cancel with Focus > Up b F-tilt > cancel with Focus > Side b Bair > side b > cancel with Focus > U-tilt > Up b Uair > Up b > cancel with Focus > Nair > Up b Dsmash > cancel with Focus > side b There are many variations. I'd like to see what you'll have since there isn't a combo thread here. (Edit: her Ex-side b should do more damage though, for real Normal side b does 19%, kill earlier, no free fall. Ex side b does 15%, no mobility, free fall. What could make sense for me is Ex side b doing more damage at the cost of less knockback.) |

| Chun-Li would be amazing if the stages were smaller. Then Up-b could kill off the top earlier like ZSS in Sm4sh. |

| Got bored of SSF2 again... and make another return to this forums after another few years
Man, I feel old. Very, very old. And chun-li's page is still... one page
But after a brief return, I can (still) say that if you can land it, up smash is still probably her strongest kill move apart from the final hit on side-b
