| I have an Idea, Create Aged-Up Versions of the Ice Climbers and give each one their own slot! Sure, they both play like bigger versions of the ice climbers (Complete with those Zipline Belt things like in Attack on Titan), save for a few traits to make them somewhat unique. Popo Unique Traits: Ice-based attacks deal more Damage Unique MovesDown Smash: Think Megaman, except with ice instead of fire. Grab: Think Zelda but with ice damage Down+B: Ice Tornado - Like the Mario Tornado, but with added ice damage Final Smash: Ice Climax - Popo tosses a Pickaxe at one of the fighters, hits said fighter repeatedly and then using the Mario Finale only this time it's a Subzero Ice Kick Nana Unique Traits: Lighter than Popo, physical attacks deal more damage Unique MovesDown Smash: See Captain Falcon, but with Ice Damage Grab: See Zero Suit Samus Side+B: Tipo Toss - Nana tosses a Tipo at enemies Final Smash: Hammer Blitz: Bludgeons anyone in her Path with her Giant Hammer. |

| Come on, now. Most of us were like him at some point, he just wants to share a ton of ideas. The main difference between me and him is that I put more thought into ideas and I'm better at convincing you guys I'm right. If you guys keep picking on him like this, he's going to either be driven away or end up being an asshole towards other guys. Supply constructive criticism and hopefully he'll learn. The ban is supposed to help him calm down and rethink his ideas, rather than simply spout out everything at once. Back to the topic at hand: - Perfect Hell wrote:

Technically, he's not wrong... but there's no way we're going to separate the Ice Climbers. There's a difference between breaking the rules and coming up with a bad idea. Basically, I think official Smash characters will stay mostly the same, with only minor attack changes if it might benefit the character (Lucas PK Ground, for example, to differentiate him from Ness). |

| Was my post picking on him in any way? I'm re-reading it over and over again, but I just can't see it. It seems like an honest question to me. So I'm sorry if I said something in an untactful way. My original draft was "are you just obtuse?", but I can see how that can be construed as offensive. I actually took pains to make it less offensive, so it's funny that you decided to glance over it anyway and plant your own meaning on it.
Spoon, another problem is that aged-up versions of the Ice Climbers are too much like original characters. As you know by now, we don't do original characters here at Crusade. Unless Nintendo themselves release some sort of sequel for Ice Climber, I doubt we'd ever do something of the sort. |

Roy I respect your opinion but I completely disagree with you. In my very first forum, I was complete noob myself. I necrobumped over 9000 threads to the point where a Moderator PM'd me to stop. Did I continue making the same mistake? No. Hell, I even PM'd the Moderator back apologising for the trouble I had caused. Yes, all of us where enthusiatic at some point, but I doubt we ignored feedback from the forum itself. So far people like Falcon, Dry, PerfectHell, yourself, Gamey, Taxman, Hype and myself (sorry if I'm forgeting anyone) have provided feedback to spoon in tactful or crude manner. If he cannot control his enthusiasm, then maybe he's not ready yet to join this, or any community. |

| Ok, you may be right. He's improved slightly, but not much at all after this time. I wanted to give him a chance, but... well... ... Has a moderator PM'd him or talked to him? Maybe the ban wasn't enough.
One issue I'm having is that he's provoking discussions like this that are unrelated to the topic at hand. This might be a messy cleanup for Dust/whoever.
So... um... Ice Climbers. Yeah. Would it be possible for an alternate outfit to switch who is the leader? Half of Melee's outfits had you controlling Nana instead of Popo. Just an aesthetic change, but might be nice to see. |

| I don't see the point of switching Nana & Popo. With such a fast-paced game and the camera zoomed out to an extent, you could barely tell them apart besides the palette colors. Maybe have Popo wear pink and Nana wear purple/blue, but switching the actual individuals (if that is what you are trying to propose) seems pointless. |

I was talking about giving the two separate character slots in their older state. |

| Hold on hold on. I thought Nana was just a Popo recolour? In which case, it would be very easy to make one of their palettes a switched version.
Regarding the discussion between Sliss and Roy, what do you guys think of his signature, and of how obviously proud he is of it? |

I'd have a goddamn field day ranting about his signature, but I feel it'd be a bit off-topic here. Sorry. |

Their hair is also different. It's a very minor change, though... probably not worth it, but thought that it'd make a neat easter egg. |

| Their sprites are separated from each other so it would be easy to have the game load the reverse sprites. |

| I think the finalsmash is not as good as the one in the original game. But a combination of both final smashes ( blizzard and iceberg ) would be badass !!!!! they literally turn the stage in to Antarctica. |

| My only change for these sympathetic twins, is in their Final Smash. Here's the idea:
-Snowy: The Ice Climbers summon a giant snowman which falls at the background of the stage, unleashing a freezing wind which damages the enemies, and makes them having some trouble for walking/dashing due to the wind pushes them also. Fianlly, after some seconds, the snowman explodes, freezing all the enemies, and damaging them.
I think this attack has some sense...or, what do you think? |

| It doesn't sound good to me, though. Nowhere in the original game does an exploding snowman appear. And why would a snowman explode anyway? What does anything of that has to do with Ice Climber? |

| I totally remember that one time when Luigi made everything around him the opposite color and killed everyone. That was my favorite move if Mario Golf.
Can't forget that time when Peach made peaches fall from the sky.
Oh and the Triforce Slash is something that Link did in every game. |

| I never said I liked Luigi's Final Smash in Brawl. I also hate Peach's Final Smash, but only because it puts me asleep while that princess has all the time in the world to regenerate her health almost completely! So infuriating!
But Link's Triforce Slash? Well, Link always slashed enemies in the original Zelda games, and he is in the possesion of a Triforce, so his Triforce Slash really does not sound so farfetched. At least not as farfetched as an exploding snowman! |
