I just realised, isn't Takamaru basically just Japanese for Hawkman?

uh. no.

Taka = hawk
maru = circle (used typically as a suffix towards a ship or a beloved male)

So pretty much "Hawk Circle".

I see. However this topic is not for discussing that. It is to voice opinions on the possible inclusion of the character.
