Not necessarily true. Plenty of game developers plan, and sometimes even announce, their future DLC before the game itself is released.

Plenty of game developers don't plan/announce their DLC when their games aren't even half-finished.

The thing is that we're not a company, and most of us are hardly game devs. There's no point in emulating things to a 1:1 match for everything.

As much as I do NOT want to endanger Deoxys's chances of being DLC, this seems pretty fair to me, and I am all for it if it will get all of you to stop fighting like children over something that can honestly be waited to be decided and worried about AT LEAST until after the 9th demo is out. Why DLC was even started before then is a mystery to me.

As for this poll, I'll vote to see how Prinny fairs on the main DLC poll.

I also agree with abolishing confirmed DLC entirely. The ones people want will still end up DLC, because the users will be voting for those characters and the DLC poll would go up to top 25.

Ugh, by saying "let's see how he fairs on the poll", I meant I was voting for the 17th option.

I like Prinny, but I don't see why Prinny would be considered before Lip. This is Smash Bros. First Party Nintendo characters take priority.

Plus... Prinny is known for being not good at all in fighting, if he was presented accurately he'd just be a joke character.

Crusade however is lacking in females, so Lip all the way.

I honestly have no clue why this is even a poll, I can't think of anything that justifies Prinny and I'm a huge Disgaea fan (my favorite game is 3, least favorite is 4 "SARDINES!" isn't funny no matter how many times you say it Val!)

Well, the story for why this topic is here is all in the Original Post. Either way, you'd think Lip would take more priority over someone like Ezio or Ristar and be a CONFIRMED character that's in the main roster for Crusade. I just don't get some of the choices for the roster when there's still a few 1st party Nintendo characters that are just completely ignored.

Prinny was a bad choice no doubt, but Lip doesn't sound interesting in the slightest. Being female and 1st party doesn't change that imo.

The Ice Climbers were interesting because of the 2 in 1 gimmick they brought. Lip...has a staff that poisons people that is already an item.

the ice climbers were an interesting concept. Two characters fighting at the same time controlled as one.

There's nothing particularly interesting about Lip that Dr. Mario cant already do.
