Alright, so that everyone knows, Glover (Glover) had won his Suggestion Poll and therefore is a new candidate for this poll. If anyone wants to submit a Candidate Listing for him, feel free to do so.

Also, I'm giving Sabure Prince my last vote. He is a retro Nintendo character. A swordman with the ability to turn into a frog & a snake.

DLC Poll Updated

Sora is my first choice, he is already in SSF2 and works really well there. Plus, his games have been multimillion sellers and his concept is based on universe crossovers in the first place. I feel that he should have been on the original roster and so is my first vote choice.

Dr. Robotnik is my second, here we have an incredibly popular villain of a major video game series. As others have already touched on, his moveset (based on his boss mechs) would add a lot to the game in my opinion. For those who criticize this choice I say that there were exactly two characters in the original Sonic game: Sonic and Robotnik. He's been in almost every series game and also has a very fleshed out character. Eggman is most likely second only to Sonic himself in terms of importance to the series- certainly more important than Shadow and Knuckles. Denying him would be a great injustice in my humble opinion.

Spyro the Dragon is my third vote, I grew up with him and he was an incredibly popular character for a decade. Adding to that, the Skylanders series while it's rap has added new life to Spyro's universe.

Master Chief gets my fourth vote. He is not a Nintendo character, but his games have been the pastime of a generation of players so I think he should get in out of his importance to gaming history. Not to mention the kinds of guns he could use for variety.

Agumon from Digimon gets my fifth vote. Digimon was very big back in the day, and the anime was very good as well A representative from this well known universe deserves to get in.

Yoshimitsu gets my sixth vote. He represents two well known series and his playstyle combines ninja majic with heavy swordsmanship. That's enough for me.

Lara Croft gets in seventh, because of her recent game and of the fact that I'm a wrestling fan who appreciates Smashking's Bookah T avatar. ALL HAIL KING BOOKAAAHHH

Finally for eighth is Nightmare. If Yoshi can't get in, I'd like one SC representative to be accounted for since SCII sold the best for GC and Nintendo allowed Link to be present for that one.
