| Going to see it soon, I really can't wait. I did hear though... Very, Very minor spoilers. - Spoiler:
That Nolan not so subtly hints at the end how the series will continue, although in a very different light.
My guess, the final scene will have Selina enter the Iceburg Lounge. There's two characters I'd love to see together in a Nolan film.

Not really. (Very minor spoiler here) - Spoiler:
He has directly said that he is done with Batman. They make it clear at the end that the story he set out to tell is over, but they leave something big that hints that there will likely still be big events in Gotham but keeps it fairly open. Sort of a "Gotham will always have a protector" kind of thing. Kind of like the Incredibles's ending, in a way.

That really needs his own topic if anything, I personally don't want to discuss it here. I just want to talk about the film. @Werekill: - Spoiler:
Hmm, maybe I misread it then, I still want Catwoman vs Penguin in a Nolan film though. Seriously, to pair her with someone as unrelated as Bane is ridiculous. Scarecrow and Ras both had similar methods and goals, and Joker corrupting Dent worked well, I just can't see a point where they'd ever need to interact together.

| Incredible movie, but it had some major flaws (big spoilers throughout this post) - Spoiler:
Bane was not Bane. Bane is known for one thing and one thing only: juicing up with Venom. He did not juice once in the new movie, which is a pretty pathetic attempt at Bane's character.
Catwoman didn't have the whip. That is her trademark, seriously Nolan wtf were you thinking?
@Werekill - Spoiler:
Actually the ending could not have made it any more clear that there are more movies on the way. You can't just leave off the series with Robin discovering the batcave, obviously he's about to become the Robin sidekick, which now absolutely MUST have a movie. He also left us off with Wayne still alive AND with the Cat, and Alfred finding the two of them. Obviously those three characters are about to be back together again, they can't leave that team up reunion without another movie. So either there will be more movies, or Nolan doesn't realize that leaving cliffhangers at the end of something supposed to be final is a bad idea.

Well, it does sound like a new movie is on the way, I still doubt it will be Batman though, I still haven't seen the film yet but I don't see why they can't have Nightwing in Bludhaven as the spin off.

A new movie wouldn't be Batman simply because the trilogy of the Dark Knight is over, however that doesn't prevent a Catwoman movie, or a "Batman&Robin" series

There's still villains that could be done in the Nolanverse, going by his attempts to keep Batman whitin the realm of possibility I can think of Penguin, Riddler, Zsazz (Cameo'd but not featured), Deadshot, possibly Killer Croc and maybe even Harley Quinn if they decide to spill what happened to Joker after TDK. If it's a Batman and Robin series Talia would be interesting too, but with Selina in the picture that may be difficult.

Ahem, Talia is dead as of TDKR.
Yes, the other choices are possibilities of course but i was bringing up the point that it is already determined that TDK series is done completely, therefore the cliffhangers left in Rises can only lead to a different series, my guesses being - Spoiler:
Batman&Robin or Catwoman

Maybe Nolan will give us a curveball, I mean a Robin spin-off doesn't sound like Nolan, but I could see Blake being Azrael or maybe even Terry McGinnis. My money is on Azrael.

I like the Azrael idea. That would be fun. I was also thinking he could take the Robin thing towards Nightwing. Even though the bg story doesn't fit Nightwing, nolan has already given quite a few inaccuracies so i wouldn't put it past him to change Nightwing's backstory

Azrael seems like a good fit to me, after all the plot lines up fairly well with Knightfall. Bane's biggest story, Wayne is out (Not broken, just away), and someone gets the keys to the Cave. It just sounds so much like Azrael to me.

An excellent movie although there are somethings I personally would have like to see or not happen in the movie.
*1: Catwoman with no whip. Catwoman did not use the whip once in the movie. Seriously, i would have like to see her at least have it and use at least once. The was something not loyal to the comics.
#2: Do not leave cliffhangers at the end of your movies Nolan. This is supposed to be the finale of your Batman trilogy; leaving cliffhangers does not help make it the end of it (although it can be a setup to another trilogy).
#3: Talia. This is the only true flaw of the movie imo. First off she was overall insignificant in comparison to the other characters; she really did not have much to do in the movie just to be a "love interest" for Bruce Wayne. Second off all when she was revealed to be Talia, Bane's role as the main villain went down the drain; in other words, Bane really had no purpose other to then to be Talia's puppet since she was the mastermind behind everything Bane was doing. Third is that from what i know, Talia does not die in the comics and her death in the movie was terrible and abrupt. She could have at least been more of a dangerous villain by fighting Batman or Selina since she is a skilled assassin, but no she instead gives a villainous monologue, an evil face and than she just dies.....dafuq? Talia is supposed to be Ra's al Ghul's daughter; she is supposed to be a mastermind like him......she does not demonstrate that here. Imo she was just a villain thrown at the end.
#4: Where is the Venom? Bane always used the Venom in the comics where is it?
But the movie was enjoyable nonetheless. 9/10 from me.

| Well, I finally saw it. - Spoiler:
I liked the way they did Bane, he may have been changed, but that doesn't mean he's worse. I personally was dreading Bane, as he jus didn't seem like a fit for the Nolanverse. I hated how he died though, it was kinda' shameful that Nolan just wrote him off like that. It was pretty clear though that it was the end for Bruce IMO, his story seemed well and truly capped of at the end. As for the cliffhanger, now I've seem Blake in action I'm near positive that he's Azrael, he just wasn't a Robin to me.

Talia was great, and yet totally sucked. There were so many things done right, but yet she still wasn't nearly done justice.

I say Miranda Tate was done well. She was basically the Alfred while he was gone, along with Lucius. But Talia al Ghul was done wrong imo. Talia had little to no character development and is THE MAIN VILLAIN of the film. And she did not fight Selina, and they are both rivals in the comics. Her death was unneeded and abrupt (she does not die in the comics). She could have been the main villain of a Catwoman trilogy but apparently she dies by a simple truck crash and does a villainous monologue all weakly like:
"My father's legacy will be fulfilled, the bomb cannot be stopped. Prepare yourselfs and watch the total demise of Gotham...Hahahahahahahaha!"
Come on.. (that last laugh could have actually been cool in the movie imo)

But you leave out the things done right. Firstly, she is Bruce Wayne's love interest yet also a villain, this was done well. They got her bg story pretty good, and they definitely set it up well, not everyone caught it but some viewers would definitely suspect her to be Talia early on in the movie. Although it was stupid to have her tell her life story while the knife is just chillin in Batman's gut for a few minutes........
